The only negative this far, is that one of the soakers had what looked like dirt stains, but it was washed off easily so nothing to kick up a fuss over. Outside of that, I really like these, the colors are bright so you can see these hard guards from across the rink even if the lights are dimmed for public skate. The microfibre towel dries my blades very well, dries quickly and takes up almost no space in my skate bag. The color of the soakers and hard guards is so pretty. Assembling the hard guards can be a little tricky, but it's not difficult - especially if you've assembled guard dog brand guards before. The instructions provided to assemble were a little confusing, but if you have experience using blade guards and know how they work this should be easy to figure out. The soakers and towel work as expected. The blade covers already have holes in the back and toepick after 5 uses and the blade is cutting into the track. They are at the proper tension and length. The skater is adult in size. Might work okay for kids under 80lbs better, but might not...

The first step in taking care of your skates is to not walk about on the black rubber surrounding the ice rink. Step 2 is wipe your blades. Step 3 is storing your dry blades in a padded soft place. That 3rd step important as it is going to help prevent injury when you are storing/relocating your skates. This color matching 3 pack provides all the pieces needed to protect you and your skates. Great price for all the pieces you get! Came with all the correct pieces. Blade guards were easy to assemble. Soakers are decently absorbent. I make sure to wipe my blades and skates off with the little towel included in the set.
