All blades are prone to nicks, dull spots and rust without the proper care. This fundamental CRS Cross set will provide complete care for your skate blades to prolong their life. Important Note: Size is based on the required soaker size (S, M, L).
- CRS Cross hard guards protect your ice skate blades while walking off ice. Blade guards come as four pieces (one pair of two piece guards), with included springs and phillips-head screws. Spring hardware provides the tension to easily stretch guards onto blades and stay secure while you walk. CRS Cross Hard Guards are "One Size Fits All". Assembly required. Hard guards may need to be cut to fit. Instruction set included with video link.
- CRS Cross soakers (also referred to as soft guards or blade covers) are made from absorbent microfiber to protect and cover ice skate blades. Your skate blades should never be stored in hard guards. Blades should be dried thoroughly the towel and stored in CRS Cross soakers. Three sizes are available based Small, Medium or Large (see size chart according to boot size). Small fits Junior/Youth boot size 1 or smaller, Medium fits adult sizes 1-4, Large fits adult sizes 4+.

The only negative this far, is that one of the soakers had what looked like dirt stains, but it was washed off easily so nothing to kick up a fuss over. Outside of that, I really like these, the colors are bright so you can see these hard guards from across the rink even if the lights are dimmed for public skate. I really like that everything was sold together like this. Happy to have ordered.

Great microfibre towel, and the color is pretty.

The microfibre towel dries my blades very well, dries quickly and takes up almost no space in my skate bag. The color of the soakers and hard guards is so pretty. Assembling the hard guards can be a little tricky, but it's not difficult - especially if you've assembled guard dog brand guards before. Definitely good value for money when you consider the price of edea hard guards. I really like having a matching set too - the color selection is great.

The instructions provided to assemble were a little confusing, but if you have experience using blade guards and know how they work this should be easy to figure out. I have women's size 8 boots and got a large, they fit the blades perfectly without cutting. The absorbent that came with was super soft and cute. I recommend!!

The soakers and towel work as expected. The blade covers already have holes in the back and toepick after 5 uses and the blade is cutting into the track. They are at the proper tension and length. The skater is adult in size. Might work okay for kids under 80lbs better, but might not...

Skate care a three step process!!!

The first step in taking care of your skates is to not walk about on the black rubber surrounding the ice rink. Step 2 is wipe your blades. Step 3 is storing your dry blades in a padded soft place. That 3rd step important as it is going to help prevent injury when you are storing/relocating your skates. This color matching 3 pack provides all the pieces needed to protect you and your skates. Hopefully, it will also help you easily identify yours from that of you skate mates as there are a multitude of color options. Priced reasonably and decent quality!
