I saw this watch on Amazon and was impressed by its simple, clean, minimalist design. I ordered it and it arrived in a very classy box worthy of gifting!!! NICE!!!!😃 This is a thin and light (only 45 grams) battery-powered quartz watch that immediately kept excellent time!!! The black-on-black monochromatic dial has hour markers but lacks minute indices. A watch of this design wouldn't necessarily have minute markers, as it's a fashion statement and not a diver's watch. The distinctive blue colored hour and minute hands stand out against the dial, adding an understated yet distinctive look to the timepiece. The only complication on the face is the seconds dial, which also adds interest to the watch's look with its blue hand!!! I found the watch to be a perfect size for most men with its 40 mm diameter case. It's not too big and not too small....it hits the "sweet spot". The soft silicone band is ok, but the watch would look better with a leather strap. The included strap will do for now, as it is rather comfortable to wear. I have more expensive watches, but was looking for a good everyday timepiece that I wouldn't have to worry about if it was scratched. It looks sophisticated with a suit on, and looks to be more expensive than it truly is. I had some nice compliments on the watch, and the folks being kind with their words have no idea what manufacturer produces this watch. I've had a couple of guys and gals mention that I must be making too much money to have gone out and purchased an expensive foreign watch!!! CRAZY!!! RIGHT!!!! I'll never tell!!!😄 It was thoughtful of the maker to include a Hardex crystal to help prevent accidental scratches!! ⚡BE ADVISED⚡: This watch from CRRJU only has a 3-ATM water-resistant build. That means don't forget that it will hold up if it gets splashed at the sink or you get caught in the rain, but don't make the mistake of taking a shower or going swimming with this watch. It isn't designed to be rated as waterproof, and a swim or shower will most likely result in the watch being compromised to the point of extinction!!!😉 The watch is unassuming and won't draw tons of attention like a huge 50 mm watch that's 17 mm thick. It's nice to have a cost-efficient, well-running watch that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion!!! I am impressed with the look of the watch and how it straps to my wrist without a thought of how heavy or awkward this watch is. 🚩I rate this wonderfully designed low-cost quartz watch a 10 out of 10 because it looks great on my wrist, it's very comfortable to wear even for extended amounts of time, it is keeping good time, it does draw enough attention to boost my ego a bit, and the price point can't be beat!!! I recommend this watch to anyone concerned about damaging an expensive watch at work, or someone who needs to tell the time, but doesn't want to pay thousands for a Swiss watch!!! This is a review of the CRRJU Men’s Casual Stylish Waterproof Quartz Wristwatches, Ultra Thin Second Hand Watches for Men, Colorful Silicone Band. It looks good. This is a very nice looking watch. It has a sleek appearance; the black watch face matches the black band. The version I have has an hour and minute hand, along with a small 60 second face. The watch face has no numbers; the only coloring on my watch is a small blue patch on the 3 hands. I believe there is also a version with a sweep second hand as well as a stopwatch. The watch is very confortable to wear; the silicon band has more than enough holes to fit most sized wrists. The watch claims to be waterproof, but I think that would be a real stretch for a timepiece that sells for under $40. My only real negative is that there is no way to read the time in a dark room. I did not expect a backlight or LED, but most watches at least have a self-illuminating paint on the minute and hour hands. This one does not. Don't expect to be able to tell what time it is in a darkened room. I have no issues being seen wearing this watch. It is quite thin, and exhibits a nice style in its design. I’ve been hoping this brand would submit to the Vine program for awhile now and was thrilled when I saw this!! This is a really sharp looking watch with a sports style band. The value for the money is excellent. I got it for my 14 year-old son. The all black with deep blue accents looks extremely stylish. It tells time reliably as it should. It’s comfortable in the same way as any silicone-band watch ….but just like with any other silicone band, you’re gonna need to wipe the underside with alcohol pads every few days to keep the smell of wrist-band sweat at bay. It seems sufficiently durable. The watch face is quite large! This might be too big for a young child, but is an appropriate size for a teen or adult. A lot of people have smart watches these days, but it’s still nice to log off every once and awhile and wear a good old-fashioned watch…except this one is just fashion! My other watches are a Garmin dive computer that has more computing power and sensors than the first generation of space shuttles, and one of the giant faced Nixons with chrono that are so big that it's been mistaken for a helicopter landing pad on more than one occasion. I wanted something much dressier but classic that I could wear with a suit, but I'm not that much into fashion that I want some expensive watch with no utility. The face on this is great for that dressy but classic look. The tick marks for the hours are there on all 12, but just barely beveled in. So it's visible to you in front of your face, but not really to everyone else. This means it keeps that dressy and classic look while still being functional. The casing seems solid and well built. Only time will tell if the time retention is good. It's NOT painted with any of the light reactive glow paints, so if you're in the dark, you won't be able to see what time it is. Now for some of you, that might be seen as a bad thing, but it's perfect for when I'm on a mission with James Bond and Ethan Hunt, and we need to stay lurking in the shadows in our black tuxedos that we wore under our wetsuits. Does this thing also have a high powered laser or remote mine detonator inside? I'll end up swapping out the band for leather for that dressier classic look. Silicone just doesn't have the same savoir faire. ... show more
