We installed this rope in our garage using a ceiling mount (Yes4All, Heavy Bag Mount) with 360 degree rotation. It has been working great! The rope is just the right smoothness and thickness for their hands (age 9, 6). It's a little long for the height of our garage, but the extra length dragging on the floor hasn't been a problem. It'd be nice if they offered a shorter length, though. We can't speak to the durability yet, but the quality and feel looks really nice. The kids are letting out their inner Tarzan, kicking the standing punching bag - and using some of that pent-up energy!

I am very pleased with the construction. The rope ends are nicely sealed to prevent fraying and the loop attachment has clean welds. While there is no advertised load rating, I am confident in saying for my data-point sample, the load is not limited by anything other than the strength of the materials for the steel and Polyester – it will hold easily any person. I picked Polyester dacron due to weather resistance (although I have it indoors) and because it is easy on the hands in comparison to natural manila fiber. The 1.5-inch thickness is definitely more challenging than a 1-inch rope, which may be more conducive for children, but this will build more grip strength and my 7-yr old son can climb the 10-foot with using his legs, so it isn’t a show stopper. Rope is great. Came on time and as described. One thing to note is the rope is a PLASTIC like material (PolyDac). The two downfalls with this is (1) the rope is STIFF and DOES NOT bend (Can be a pro/con, depending on your preference). 2) If you are unaware of what PolyDac feels like, it can be a little slippery if your hands are wet (hence the 4/5 stars) . Keep a towel by to dry your hands to prevent this and it is good. Other than that, great product.

I was looking for an inexpensive rope to add to our ninja course. Many of the other brands were too long, but this one came in lengths that worked for us. I ordered two of the 8-foot ropes. I was a little concerned that some of the feedback said that the rope was too stiff and slippery, so I was pleasantly surprised when ours arrived and the stiffness is just right (not too tight, not too flow-y, but somewhere in between). The rope has a nice and silky feel to it and not slippery at all. It works great using with bare hands! As others have mentioned, the construction is very good. Both the clip on top and the cap at the bottom are well attached, and I doubt we will have any problems with it. All in all this was a better than expected purchase that made us very happy. In fact, we have been climbing up and down the rope in the past hour! :D

Great exercise and worth the money! Impress your friends and enemies with this climbing rope! Watch Youtube for tips on how to climb one gracefully. I love the feeling of reaching the top of the rope and always intended to put a bell at the top to ring but unfortunately, we had to cut down that tree and now I don't have as great a place to hang it, but I still relive the glory days in my memory.
