I bought this case at a big discount as it was "used". It turns out that someone else had bought it and returned it, perhaps because they they they were ordering a guitar case. Inside the well-worn box, the case was pristine and brand-new, still in the plastic bag it came in. The case is well-made and sturdy, and is a real eye-catcher with its size, tweed covering and brown accents. It has four latches (some cases of this type have more than that), which helps keep weight down. It looks as if it will easily accommodate instruments with a 30", 30.3", or 32" scale, such as Fender, Ibanez, and most other brands. It might j-u-s-t not fit a Dean or other instruments with a 34" scale. If you have a Dean or other 34" scale bass, check the fit if possible. Great case, a good value even at the usual "new" price!

The ONLY reason I had to return this case is that the head of my acoustic bass, with the beautiful large tuning knobs, is a full 7 inches wide. The case is not large enough at the top to accomadate all of that. This was a real bummer as it is a beautiful and well constructed case. If you're looking at this case (and have a normal sized guitar) buy it...worth every penny.

Nice case for an Ibanez PCBE12 Acoustic Bass Guitar with almost 5” of length to spare. Very well made at this price point. The plush interior includes two loose plush pads to custom pack your precious and a storage cubby for strap, strings, and cables. Four latches, (no zipper, like the description notes say), & two hinges, with antique brass finish really complement the vintage brown material. They give the case a retro vibe. Metal bag-feet are on both the case bottom and on the back. If you’re in a hurry - be warned - it took 12 days from order to actually get to me. For me it was worth the wait.

I had struggled to find a case for my Hagstrom Viking Semi-Hollow Bass. Hagstrom no longer has a distributor for the US, and the lower bout on the Viking is wider than most other similar basses. "Crossrock" is a new name for me - I had not heard of the company prior to performing a search for hard bass cases. The interior measurements listed on the website and reviews inspired me to take a shot and place an order. I am 100% pleased with my purchase. Crossrock has done an exceptional job with this case and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others or purchase another case from them in the future. In addition, they include two plush pads that help provide a more custom fit for your guitar. Well done.

This is a well built hard case suitable for gigging musicians. An acoustic bass case is tough to fit. All the other options I found were too short or too narrow at the bouts. This case is oversized and I need to pack rolled towels to keep the instrument stable in transit. It’s pricey but worth it to protect a good instrument.

Purchased this case for my husband’s acoustic electric Fender Bass. I had been searching for an affordable hard case for several years without any luck. Finally came across this case by Crossrock. The measurements given in description were right on. Looks and feels sturdy. The cover has the look and feel of real leather not a thin flimsy feel that some cases have. The case edges are reinforced well and makes the case feel sturdy without any lid wobble. The latches are fairly heavy duty and all worked well. It is sufficiently padded, lining is soft and a nice grey/blue color. Storage compartment will a hold strap, cord, extra batteries and strings. The bass fits like a glove in this case. My husband and his band members all agree “It’s a good one”.

Had a hard time finding a case for my Hagstrom Viking Bass. Saw someone else here say it fit so picked it up. Fits perfectly. Movable pads are nice for extra padding near bottom strap peg.
