  • Nice and very light
Color: Red Style: Straight Soprano Sax
It is very compact and although I had to make certain adjustments inside the case, it is a very practical case and does not feel heavy at all. Aesthetically speaking it is very modern and with a very special design,

  • Awesome Sax Case!
Color: Red Style: Alto Saxophone
This is the most beautiful sax case I have ever owned! Sturdily built yet compact and easy to carry or use the two straps for a backpack carry!

  • Best Saxophone Case Ever, No Exaggeration
Color: Red Style: Alto Saxophone
This is the best instrument case I have ever owned and ever seen. It's color and sheen are beautiful to look at, and its holds my saxophone with the utmost security. The engineering of the clasps is none short of miraculous. It holds the necessities for a gig perfectly. Although there is no storage room for additional accessories (pencils, boxes of reeds, repair tools, stand light, etc.), I keep these in a separate tool box with my woodwind stands and this presents no difficulty. The quality, craftsmanship, and beauty of this case exceed those of cases far more expensive. I only wish a similar model for oboe and English were available! ... show more

  • Yanagisawa Straight Soprano does NOT fit
Color: Red Style: Straight Soprano Sax
I was excited about this, but unless your horn has Selmer-style palm keys, it will not fit.

  • Unique
Color: Red Style: Curved Soprano Sax
Very stylish. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Not the best padding inside as it pertains to absorbing any shock, however, I’d definitely say that it’s a couple of steps up from a gig bag. Glad someone has thought forward enough to make a contoured case for the curved soprano sax player. Instrument fitment is nice… not too awkward. Shell seems well made. Strapping is fine. I wish the clasps on the ends of the straps were a little less bulky. Storage space is okay. Wish the pocket was a little better designed. I’m hoping the finish stays in tact. I haven’t had a problem with the latching as of yet. The TSA lock option is a plus. * I’d like to throw this in for anyone who flies… if you decide to wear this case as a carry-on, and you decide to place the case in an overhead bin during your flight, I would recommend that you find a decent canvas drawstring bag to place your case into to protect the finish from scratches and blemishes from possible sliding and incidental contact with other luggage. • This is a great slim tenor saxophone case. It's easy to take on planes, and doesn't take much space
Color: Black Style: Tenor Saxophone
I got this case because I've been traveling and wanted to bring my tenor saxophone with me. This case doesn't fit as much as the Protec case that I had, but is also probably a little bit sturdier and is about the size of the fitted alto sax case that I have, which is amazing. It comes with a little pouch that can be used to put the neck into that I stuff into the bell of my sax, it has a spot that fits a mouthpiece and small reed case, and I have a small case that I sometimes put inside with a few extra mouthpieces. I can also fit a small padded neck strap, but there's no way to fit my harness neck strap in the case, though that didn't fit in the Protec case either. The backpack straps on this case are great, I haven't had any accidents with the straps coming off. I had a few times with the Protec case where I leaned over and bonked someone, and I haven't had that happen with this case. ... show more

  • Too tight
Color: Red Style: Straight Soprano Sax
This is the 2nd time I have attempted using a cross rock case. I had previously tried an alto case for my Yamaha 82Zii and it seemed I had to press down quite a bit in order for it to close. I also did not care for the latches and their propensity to snag on something and open. I tried a second time with my soprano Yamaha 82Z. I encountered the same issues. Perhaps the case will work for particular models/brands. I did not find it to be a solution for Yamaha horns. I love the look and the color, really wanted it to work - but I had to move on. For tenor Yamaha 82zii, I purchased a Protec Tenor Saxophone Micro Zip Case. I also use this for my alto Yamaha 82Zii. It is a perfect fit. The zipper is very reassuring for safety. ... show more
