I bought these speakers because I like my music loud and the onboard speakers on my turntable were not cutting it. I’m primarily using this for vinyl but streaming via Bluetooth is a must too. That said, the speakers were easy to set up and have really clean sound quality, even with vinyl (used with a Crosley turntable). I haven’t used Bluetooth much yet but it was easy to pair and initial test plays sound fine. The speakers are a great size and will fit on the shelf or in a cabinet. The speakers are clear when played at a loud volume. I’ve read comments about the lack of bass… I do agree that they’re not very deep, but that’s not important for me. The one thing I don’t like is the volume knob. The knob itself is metal and feels strong, but the dial isn’t very tight so the control is weird. All things considered, not bad for under $100! Just received, was all excited to hook up, opened box ; the main speaker the grey cover had popped off and two of the screws in the bottom speaker had come loose where the speaker itself was falling out. Got a screwdriver, tightened these screws, put cover back on: okay I'm happy now. All is good. I can get past that. Go plugging the extra (2nd) speaker into the main and hook up main to my player with rca, turn on, main speaker is the only one that works. I love the dern things and want to keep but I only have one speaker working. For $100 I definitely should have them both. Pisses me off! So now I have to pack and return, this sucks. The sound is great on the one speaker, if only they both worked properly, I would have been pleased with the son and stuff. Irritated. But I will let you know how the rest of the process goes..😔 ... show more

These speakers work great and as far as the volume knob goes I haven't had any problems yet. They work well with my Victrola Record player. I wanted to add some more strength to my record player. It was a good upgrade very nice set of speakers. The wood finish gives it a nice classic look with the gold highlights around the speakers. Cons : Wires are super short, so probably want to buy some rca extentions. ... show more
