I love this chair so much but it was tricky to put together. It was not a 1 person task. It's not a lot of steps that makes it difficult; it's the fit. It took some work to get the holes to line up for the bolts. We managed to do it and now are very happy it.

This retro chair is exactly like the one at my Grandma's. It is heavy and sturdy. However, even with two people, this chair was a struggle to get together. I tried calling Crowley customer service for assistance as recommended and was on hold for an hour as "the first person in the queue." Aside from taking 3 of us to put it together, it was done in no time. I can’t imagine anyone trying to do this on their own. The color is absolutely perfect! Exactly what I hoped it would be. It’s comfortable and sturdy and it’s exactly what fills out my small space. Could not be happier with this purchase. This took me back to my aunts house, circa 1965.
