The Crosley Vintage Portable Vinyl Record Player Turntable is undeniably a beauty. The colors are as lovely as shown in the pictures, and the boho pattern adds a unique touch that I absolutely love. I bought the boho cream/striped kind of design, and it's perfect! There are a few things that I would want to keep in mind though: First, this turntable is a bit larger than I expected, notably larger than the standard Victrola models, so it's crucial to double-check the measurements to ensure it fits your space comfortably. This isn't a problem for me, but having only ever bought Victrola players, I was surprised by how much bigger this one was. It's not huge, just bigger. Onto the sound quality - here's where I encountered some issues. There seems to be a consistent echo on every vinyl I've played so far. I'm not sure if it's user error on my part, but it's something to be aware of. It's possible that there might be an adjustment needed, or maybe it's specific to this model, I'm not sure. It's kind of annoying, and I've found the only way to drown it out is by turning the volume way up which isn't always practical. I'm not sure if using external speakers would help either, just watch out for the issue if you buy it. Even so, this is a stylish and eye-catching turntable with a lot of great patterns and designs to choose from. Love my first record player. There are some things that I wish to be improved. For example, I wish the speakers were a little bit better, but you can add your own speaker and accessory to make it to your taste. The turn table is ok. The look made of wood is why I got this product. But the quality of the music is not that great. I connected to my Sonos system and gave a plus on the system but the needle somehow damaged/scratched some of my vinyls

No, the craftsmanship is not perfect, but for a portable turntable under $100 in pink, it is good enough for me. The only concern I have is the the section/piece that hold the arm & turntable is very loose and sticking up a bit. I am concerned it will fall apart eventually. You know when you buy something you really don’t need on a whim? That’s what happened with me buying this record player. I’m a casual music lover. I like music. But I don’t go out of my way to listen to it so I never saw the need for a record player. But I saw this one and thought it was very cute and I was thinking why not? I could enter into my record listening to era. I’m a grown up, there’s no one to stop me. So I bought the record player and I don’t know just putting a record on has brought me so much joy. True the sound quality isn’t the BEST but it’s pretty good for just having music on in the background. If you want to blast your records, buy some speakers for it! Honestly I might do so myself in time. Like I said I bought it because it was cute. Which, I understand, is not the proper reason to buy a record player. I was so excited to get this Crossley as the one I received as a gift 15 years ago tended to skip in the beginning of newer records (perhaps the lead time has been reduced). In any event, while this player looks better than my old one and is lighter, the sound quality is incredibly poor -- no base at all, you guys, really? And what genius decided it was better to have a pitch dial than a tone dial (we need to control treble and bass, not the speed of a record, that's what the 33/45 settings are for) and the arm doesn't even auto return! It's bad enough that all the modern record players don't have stackable turntables, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I'm glad I only paid 50 bucks for this. The Crossley name no longer holds a guarantee of quality for me. ... show more
