Straight hair at last!
I have curly/frizzy hair. I’ve never straightened it at home before because I assumed the process would be hard, and I couldn’t be bothered. I now regularly straighten my hair and feel so much more put together. This tool works really well, and it’s easy to use. Don’t buy it! Croc customer service won’t respond either!
I used this brand for years and it was far superior to all other brands, especially with super thick hair. I recently purchased this smaller flat iron and it stopped working within 6 weeks. I thought I got a fluke so I ordered another one and the same exact thing happened. I also got one from their website thinking I would actually have the warranty and the warranty scans to a page that doesn’t exist. I reached out to their company many times and never heard a response. They are serving a garbage product and their company has gone so far downhill. I used to love their hair straightener but now I have to find some kind of replacement because what they have is garbage now. Don’t buy it!

Great flat iron!
Purchased this flat iron at the recommendation of my hairdresser. I've had it awhile now and it heats up and cools down quickly and smooths out my hair just as I hoped. This iron doesn't damage hair as much as others do.

Requires multiple passes for thick curly hair
I have a LOT of hair. A LOT. And it’s thick. And curly. This iron gets really hot, but still requires several passes for straight shiny hair. And you also need thin slivers of hair which means if you have a lot of hair you’ll need to take your time. What I ADORE about this iron is the grip. The indents on the handle allow your thumb to grip both sides of the iron tightly, resulting in less strain on your hands. You’d think that also means even distribution of heat? But again if you have thick hair expect to have to pass at least 2/3 times to get straight hair. It didn’t burn or smoke my hair which is a plus as well. But having to do multiple passes is why I’m giving this a 4.

Lightweight, easy to straighten, curl or wave
Perfect heat temperature settings for coarse, thick, wavy hair! I don't even need the highest setting. Leaves a smooth sheen and tames the frizz. Use with your favorite heat protectant.

Overhyped
I think this flat iron is not made for natural hair. I feel like the ladies on the videos have some sort of straightening system in their hair. I washed and conditioned my hair, I used heat protection and I blow dried my hair, with the comb attachment. I did everything and my hair was no straighter than my flat iron from the beauty supply store. The temperature control was great, it got hot but it didn’t smooth anything. The performance of this iron is disappointing. It’s made for durability, but not for natural hair. If any one has any suggestions for 4c really natural hair, like things I should do or products to try with these irons, I am opened to hearing it. Or the maybe the creator or company can give suggestions on how to better use your product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolutely love this straightener. My hair guy had one and I bought it because I got a pixie done and it got in there and straightened my cowlick in the front of head.
