I think this flat iron is not made for natural hair. I feel like the ladies on the videos have some sort of straightening system in their hair. I washed and conditioned my hair, I used heat protection and I blow dried my hair, with the comb attachment. I did everything and my hair was no straighter than my flat iron from the beauty supply store. The temperature control was great, it got hot but it didn’t smooth anything. The performance of this iron is disappointing. It’s made for durability, but not for natural hair. If any one has any suggestions for 4c really natural hair, like things I should do or products to try with these irons, I am opened to hearing it. Or the maybe the creator or company can give suggestions on how to better use your product. ... show more

Save your money. This brand works every bit as well as competitor products that sell for $$$$. Zero hair damage😊. They are seemingly drop-proof. Mine unintentionally hits the tile bath room floor frequently. They last for YEARS.

This is the best flat iron I’ve owned. It’s great for short hair, turns off by itself after 45 mins (for those of us that may forget to turn it off ) has great temperature control.
