Purchased this flat iron at the recommendation of my hairdresser. I've had it awhile now and it heats up and cools down quickly and smooths out my hair just as I hoped. This iron doesn't damage hair as much as others do.

I have a LOT of hair. A LOT. And it’s thick. And curly. This iron gets really hot, but still requires several passes for straight shiny hair. And you also need thin slivers of hair which means if you have a lot of hair you’ll need to take your time. What I ADORE about this iron is the grip. The indents on the handle allow your thumb to grip both sides of the iron tightly, resulting in less strain on your hands. You’d think that also means even distribution of heat? But again if you have thick hair expect to have to pass at least 2/3 times to get straight hair. It didn’t burn or smoke my hair which is a plus as well. Save your money. This brand works every bit as well as competitor products that sell for $$$$. Zero hair damage😊. They are seemingly drop-proof. Mine unintentionally hits the tile bath room floor frequently. They last for YEARS.
