Update 12/2024: Fan has been working well, so I increase two stars. Also suggest adding note in item description for original Big E (2006) buyers that you may have to rotate motor assembly for proper fit. When installing on 2006 P1000 Big "E" stove, the fan motor transformer was hitting the stove air intake pipe. Upon recognizing the fan impeller has to be removed and the motor assembly rotated so the transformer is rotated 180 degrees away from air intake pipe, I was ready to throw a "proper fit". Another reviewer had the same comment of having to disassemble and rotating the motor assembly to allow fan to mount flush to fan opening without hitting air intake pipe. Fan will work, requires manual effort to disassembly, rotate motor and reassembly. ... show more

It looks like it has the same motor as the combustion motor has, whitch is interesting, but the housings are different. It is easy to install in Big-E after I indexed the motor mechanism 120° CCW. IT WORKS GOOD AS INTENDER!

When I first installed it- the fan soon started making a buzzing noise like bearings were bad. See the video. I was planning on returning it-but I still tried to tinker & troubleshoot. I noticed the new fan was 0.25 inches bigger in length than old fan- see photo. Only after using a telescopic mirror to look behind the fan that i noticed it was rubbing against the air intake……just like everybody else said in comments. That 0.25 inches makes a big difference!! The back of fan spins and grinds against the intake. I had to drill new bolt holes- but now it works. 😑🪚 ... show more
