Blower fits but the style motor is to long, it rubs on the dampener when trying open it all the way. Other than that it works well. Other people have trimmed the part on the dampener in order to use it at full bore.

    • Motor making High pitch noise and bad customer service from BBQ element and Amazon.
When I initially received this product, everything looked great and it was a great fit/replacement. Now for the issues. I replaced the motor back in November 2023 and it started making a high pitch squeal February 29 2024. Its beyond the 30 day return thru Amazon and it says it has a 1 year warranty. I tried contacting the seller (bbq-element) but they have no options available for that. I contacted Amazon as they are the only option I have. The first rep had me on hold for over 25mins and never came back to the phone. I hung up. I contacted Amazon again the rep seemed like he was a little better. Boy was I wrong. I spent over 45 plus minutes and never got anywhere with them and they just kept repeating the same things to me. Only option I was given was receiving an email so I could attempt to contact the seller directly. I asked them to send me the email but never received any from Amazon. Amazon customer service has truly gotten worse. At this point Amazon is unwilling to assist me in honoring the 1 year warranty and I can't get in touch with the seller bbq-element as there is no options for them. I am left writing this review and I recommend you not buy from this seller bbq-element as the warranty mean nothing. I've been a prime member for 15ish years. No longer will I be. Next step is to cancel my prime membership and find a company that will assist its customers when there is a problem with a product they buy. They have lost this prime member. ... show more
