The motor and fan seem well made. But the terminals on the wires were missing, just the plastic was there, see photo. I also didn't realize my stove had a single paddle fan. Check yours before ordering. I had to order the single paddle fan separately. The rpm appears to be the same on all of them. No fault of the product, but getting the fan off was difficult. I used an impact driver to get the set screw out and then finagled the fan off. One of the studs started turning. Try soaking them with penetrating oil first. ... show more

Wow! What a difference! We’ve had our Harman P68 pellet stove for about 12 years. It was our first experience with a pellet stove, and we always thought it was a bit loud, but we were told by the installers that this was normal. It sounded like a broken blender running at about 75 dB. Frankly, we’ve been using it less and less because it was so loud you couldn’t even have a normal conversation in the room. That room happens to be our living room, where we spend most of our time watching TV. About a week ago, it stopped working completely, so I ordered this replacement. After installing it, the difference was night and day—about as quiet as a ceiling fan. I measured it at roughly 52 dB. What an improvement. We can now actually use our pellet stove in the same room as our television and hear the TV clearly for the first time in years. ... show more

Just installed a few days sgo. It's quiet and it's working well so far. Way cheaper than buying from the local Harman dealer. Installation was easy except for getting the old fan blade off the old motor....needed a lot of WD-40, heating with a torch, and harsh language. Luckily I had all 3 of those on hand! ... show more
