Overall great cutting machine
Color: Sticker and Vinyl Bundle
First cutting cricut I wanted to sace money and get a larger size machine than the joy. So I purchased the joy extra. I like the size it doesnt take up to much craft space. It cuts and works great I do have problems with connecting machine to computer sometimes it takes mutliple tries and sometimes it will connect without any hassle. Overall Im satified with my Joy Extra if I could buy again I would go with the next up machine due to benefit features.

Love it!!!
Color: Sticker and Vinyl Bundle
Arrived on time and quickly, too! It's the perfect size for my workspace. The machine seems well made and very durable. Getting it set up was easy with the Cricut guided tutorial and for it's smaller size has proven to be very functional. The program for using the machine is fairly simple and easy to navigate. I looked up a few YouTube videos to help me learn the program quickly. Everything listed in the bundle was included in the delivery. I should've done a little more research, because I wasn't aware the machine operated using Bluetooth connectivity and both my laptops are too old to have Bluetooth capability, so for now I've purchased a Bluetooth dongle. I definitely recommend a newer laptop or computer to operate the design program due to slow, annoying lags and for the machine for the Bluetooth. You do have the convenient option to operate everything on a mobile device like a phone or tablet. Operating from my Android phone has been somewhat challenging depending on the design I'm wanting to make. I give a 5 star review because the issues I've had were not Cricut's fault and the product is exactly as described.

Love this product
Color: Sticker and Vinyl Bundle
I absolutely love my Cricut Joy! It’s small, lightweight, and so easy to use, but don’t let the size fool you — it gets the job DONE. From labels and decals to custom cards and little projects around the house, this machine has made crafting faster, cleaner, and way more fun. The cuts are super precise, the setup was simple, and the Bluetooth connection works smoothly every time. I also love how portable it is — I can move it anywhere in my house without any hassle. The materials are easy to load, and the design options are endless. If you’re into crafting, organizing, or just love making personalized items, I 100% recommend the Cricut Joy. It’s perfect for beginners and still powerful enough for seasoned creators. Definitely one of my favorite purchases! 🎉✨

Great first machine
Color: Sticker and Vinyl Bundle
As my first cutting machine, the Cricut Joy Xtra has been a fantastic entry point into crafting. I absolutely love the small form factor. It's light, portable, and saves valuable desk space, making quick, impromptu projects a breeze. For a beginner, the setup is simple, and the overall design process feels very manageable for making cards, labels, and small décor items. However, the main constraint is the project width limitation. You're strictly capped at 8.5 inches wide for vinyl and other roll materials. This restriction is even more noticeable when using the Print Then Cut feature, where the usable area shrinks further. If you need to tackle larger shirt designs or detailed, full-page stickers, you will quickly feel limited. Overall, the Joy Xtra is a high-quality, mighty little machine perfect for the casual, space-conscious new crafter, provided you're happy sticking to smaller-scale projects.

Beginner friendly, easy to use
Color: Sticker and Vinyl Bundle
Grabbed it for a big project and it saved me countless tedious hours. It is great! Easy to set up and use. There’s a few little annoying quirks - you’re going to pay more money for images bc the free stuff is really crap, it gets angry and says “critical error” and must be restarted mid-project, etc. - but I’d still say it’s worth buying! I had the original cricut like 20 years ago, so I consider myself a beginner again because everything is different technology wise. For anyone who has not tech savvy, it is easy enough to plug-in and follow the steps and go.
