Okay, I do fully understand the Cricut hype now. I've been holding off on committing to a new craft machine (please don't look in my hall closet...you'll find way too many half-done projects), but I finally made the plunge and got the Cricut Explore 5. To say I love it is an understatement. I've used it for stickers, packaging for my small business, labels, banners, and approximately 14 late-night creative ideas that suddenly felt extremely important at 11 PM. This is one of those intuitive-to-use machines that just makes crafting easier. If you're like me, the last thing you want to do when you have a new idea is spend the next 20 hours learning complicated software before you can actually make the project. The Cricut Explore 5 simplifies the process and makes it easy to get projects done sans-cursing. The Cricut software is easy to use (I import my files from Adobe, but the software itself is robust if you prefer creating everything in one place), the machine is speedy and quiet, and the cuts come out super clean. So far I've used it for paper and felt projects, and I'm excited to experiment with even more materials. Overall, I'm super satisfied with this purchase. If you're thinking about upping your crafting game, this is absolutely the machine to do it with.

The Explore 5 is an impressive cutting machine and a great addition to any craft room. It comes with everything you need to get started, including mats, tools, pens, a scoring tool, and a generous material bundle, so you can jump right in. The “Load and Go” feature is quick and easy, and the overall speed, especially for print then cut, really stood out to me. The cuts are precise across a variety of materials like cardstock, vinyl, iron-on, and sticker paper, and I did not need to adjust pressure like I have with other machines. I also love the new scoring tool since there is no need to double score lines, and the pens draw smoothly without skipping. The sleek, smaller design is lightweight and easy to move, which is perfect for smaller spaces, and the updated Bluetooth connection has been seamless. Overall, the Explore 5 exceeded my expectations. It is user-friendly and perfect for both beginners and experienced crafters.

This is a great upgrade and would be perfect for anyone first time to Cricut. Its a smaller foot print than the previous machines which I love. And faster! It comes with everything you need to make a few projects right away which is nice since the software/set up walks you through to acclimate you to the whole thing. Easy set up and all the tools. If you've never used a cutter machine or a Cricut Machine or whatever just know that you're probably going to cry a bunch of times before you actually figure out what the hell to do. Or maybe that's just me but every time I cut it out it would come out off center and nowhere and the instructions or anything cuz I find or understand what a collaboration was and it was actually super super simple and I am guilty of going on chat gbt to figure out what the f***. Cuz I literally spent hours and hours trying to figure out what to do and how to make it work but the good news is once you do collaborate it and once you do figure it out so basically collaboration is you have to go into the settings on the app which sounds really complicated already right but it's not just click your name and it will give you a drop-down menu button you go to settings and then you find machine collaboration you click that and then you follow the instructions which are fairly simple it just means that your printer is going to print out this picture of like black lines and then you're going to feed that through your Cricut Cutter which is going to collaborate the printer and the Cricut Cutter together and then after that so far I've had zero issues I was literally spending like hours a day cutting stickers for my shop and wasn't expecting my sticker shop to blow up as quickly as it did so it was time to invest in this machine and I've never had one before and I'm super excited to try lots of new things with it. It's I figured because of how expensive it was it would have been a lot more simple but I guess not I also want to try and cut shrink film with it because I also make shrink film jewelry and I'm curious to see how that works out I even got a deep cut blade to switch out to give it a go so I hope that works but it definitely works for vinyl because I use a vinyl sticker sheets but then I also put a thick self laminate over it to make it scratch resistant and so the very thick stickers The only thing that I do find really annoying is that The constant nagging to start the free trial Is annoying I said no about 20 times and you have to keep clicking out of it because every corner you turn they're trying to get you to start this damn free trial which if you make your own artwork you don't have to even worry about it but yeah I cried during the setup twice so make sure you have a good chunk of time put aside just in case to put it together and to get it going cuz I don't know I had a really difficult time with it and I watched tons of YouTube videos and read tons of Articles and I looked over the instructions multiple times I don't like using AI but I even tried contacting customer support and they told me that I had to do it through my laptop which was going to take even longer because I've never printed anything off my laptop and everything's always been off my tablet or phone so that when it took him forever cuz none of my artwork is on my laptop anyways yeah make sure you collaborate it guys otherwise it's not going to work

I love my new Cricut! The set up was incredibly easy and its sleek design fits perfectly in my workspace. It’s super easy friendly, I had my first project printing within 20 minutes of set up. Shown is a picture of the equipment bins I made with the cricut for my son’s tee ball team. The digital bundle comes with tons of unique designs- I can’t wait for more projects! I started with a Cricut Joy because I’m not very creative and just wanted to make shirts and stickers for myself. I kept trying to find someone local to cut a single large decal for me for a bar we are opening up and for the price they were charging I decided to buy my own “big girl Cricut”. Let me tell ya, I love this thing! It’s so fast and makes great cuts. I can use the app to design quick projects on the spot and have them cut in minutes. This bundle deal was a great buy and I highly recommend getting it if you’re wanting to upgrade.

I recently sized-up from a Cricut Joy to the Explore 5 and I am SO happy with it!! I’m primarily using it to cut vinyl decals for use in making stained glass artwork. Previously, I was printing and manually cutting out patterns, but now the dual drawing and cutting capabilities have saved me a tremendous amount of time on my projects. It cuts vinyl quickly and cleanly, it’s very satisfying to see in action! The vinyl I got with my kit holds up well, even while wet grinding the glass. The 100 project bundle was really nice for me to start out with as I had less experience with the drawing/writing features. It gave me a lot of inspiration to try features other than vinyl cutting. I actually made a card with one of the templates ready to go in the software. The interface is super user friendly, whether I’m uploading a pattern or designing something new in the software’s design space. I’m excited to keep using it.

Will never buy a Cricut anything ever again. Has the dumbest most unintuitive software for cutting I've ever seen. Want to cut something out precisely where it lies on the page you've already printed? GOOD LUCK! You can position it however you like in the "prepare" tab, but once you go to "make it", the software oh so conveniently rearranges everything for you! How nice. Now everything doesn't line up how it's supposed to. Oh, you mean I have to attach random stuff to my image just to get it to stay in position properly? And even then, WHO KNOWS where it's going to cut because you can't set an exact position in the "make it" tab. You're flying blind when cutting. Machine cuts and does what it's supposed to, but the software? Absolutely do not buy this nightmare.
