So I might be in love I really love this and plan to use it as my daily purse. I have neck and shoulder issues so my rheumatologist recommended I wear a sling bag like this or a back pack. I so wanted something that looked relatively purse like, so this fit the bill. However be warned that it's not as big as some of the reviews might lead you to believe. I was apprehensive when I ordered it because I read reviews all over the internet and many of the reviews stated that it was too large to wear all the time, that it was being used for a Disney park trip, diaper bag, or one person who was 5'2" who stated that it was just far too large for a small person and looked ridiculous. Well I'm 4'9" and it's not ridiculous, it fits fine and certainly could be used daily. Further no way would it be serviceable for a Disney park or zoo trip in which I also planned to put my souvenirs inside (wtf? Several reviews I read said that, all my wuts, no you aren't fitting your wallet, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, snacks for your kids and your souvenirs in here, ain't happening). You could maybe use it as a diaper bag of you only need to get two diapers and wipes inside, but it's not going to hold a bottle, extra outfit etc in addition to a couple diapers, wipes and typical purse stuff, no way. But for me it's perfect. I love it already. If I still love it as much in awhile I'll get a second color. One thing I really like about it it's before I would have to swap all my stuff from my purse to a back pack of I wanted to go on a walk or a hike. Now I just take this, no swapping. One concern I have is sweat. I sweat a lot and there is no mesh on the back. Eventually I'm going to find out if this is washable I guess. Update: I cannot really use this in the winter. I live in a colder area and it really doesn't work well over a winter coat. I tried for awhile and eventually gave up. Oh well. Honestly it's also a bit of a pain to access when checking out, I have to unclip it to access it then I have to get it back on which isn't instant. Basically I'm back into a regular purse for now. This will definitely be used when going on outings where a purse would be a drag, but otherwise not for every day use.

I purchased this bag after seeing a coworker's. I have always carried a purse but have never been able to find one that I was happy with. No matter what style I chose, I always became frustrated when I had to dig through the purse to try and locate something--many times unsuccessfully! I also had difficulties with my shoulders being uneven due to a heavy purse hanging off of it. This bag solved all of those problems! It is meant to be carried with the strap across your chest and the bag slung across your back. The strap is adjustable for comfort and is very thick and durable. This frees up both hands to carry other things; another bag, books, small children, etc. I had a difficult time choosing what pattern I wanted but eventually settled on this one. The colors aren't quite as bright as this picture but I understand that different computer monitors can depict some variances in color. The lower front pocket is perfect for my iPhone and I'm sure it would accommodate most any other phone. The top pocket is perfect for my car keys. No more searching for my car keys as they are always in that pocket! The two main areas are sooo spacious. Both are zippered so everything stays secure. I was truly amazed at how much stuff I could fit in there! Sure, I could carry less stuff but I like to be prepared! I can fit my wallet, 3 makeup -type bags, my journal, all of my multiple pens, protein bars, diapers and an extra set of kids clothes with room to spare! I'm not exaggerating how much space there is! There is a large zippered pocket in the back of one of the sections. I receive so many compliments on this bag and people are constantly asking me where they can buy one! There are so many colors to choose from, which makes it hard to choose just one! I am seriously looking to purchase an additional one so I can switch it out for variety!

Now that I’m a mom, these bags are my absolute favorite! My son is almost 3, and since having him I’ve tried carrying a regular purse, diaper backpack, and the Kavu bags. I will use nothing other than Kavu now. I can put it on and have both of my hands free to do whatever is needed. When I need to pay for something, I just slide the bag over a little and grab my wallet. I can easily carry my son without hunching over to keep a purse from falling off my shoulder. I keep all my stuff in one zipper area, and his essentials in the other. This Kavu bag is the perfect size. I am petite and have back problems, but this bag fits securely and the straps can be adjusted enough so that it fits where it should on my back (as opposed to an off brand I tried that hung too low for me), and the Kavu has never hurt my back like other backpacks or handbags. The quality is great and the color is beautiful. The price is especially worth it if you find one on sale!
