I’ve already used it to make matching shirts for my daughter and nieces and adorable tote bags. These have had to be washed a few times and the writing is still sticking perfectly. Super easy to turn on and use. Evenly heats everything. It was time for an upgrade and this is super affordable and simple. Love that it gets it done easy and is a good size to cover the project, but not too big to store.

"I have 2 other heat presses, an automatic full size press and a no-name smaller hand held press, so this one is squarely in the middle. I consider Cricut to be a name brand and leader in the hand held press market. Fit and finish is top notch. The power cord is longer than the cheap versions and the display is brighter and sharper, the buttons are responsive. I had no problem transferring DTF prints. However, the accuracy of the temperature settings was disappointing. The actual temperature in the center of the plate was around 40-50 degrees lower that the readout. The perimeter was slightly worse. I waited 5 min after the beep went off indicating the unit had reached temperature before I took readings. Neither of my other presses give an accurate reading but they are only off by 15-20 degrees and they also have the drop off around the edges. If you are doing DTF and you need a temp of around 300 degrees you should have no problem getting there but you are going to have to figure out what setting is right on your unit. Mine was between 345 and 350. If you need the advertised 400 degrees, well, in my experience, you are not going to get it."

Bought this to replace another Cricut heat press that kept throwing "E5" errors. At least that one worked for a couple of years. THIS one won't even turn on. I'm done with Cricut.

I couldn’t be happier with the Cricut EasyPress SE! For the price, this heat press delivers incredible value and performance. It heats up quickly, maintains consistent temperature, and gives professional-looking results on everything from t-shirts to tote bags. What really stands out is how easy it is to use. The controls are simple and straightforward, making it perfect for beginners while still being reliable for more experienced crafters. The 9x9 size is versatile enough for a wide range of projects, and the compact design makes it easy to store when not in use. My first attempt resulted in a perfect adhesion of the transfer paper. Now to perfect this skill- yes I know I need to cut out the images…. That’s the perfection part haha. Overall, this is a fantastic investment if you’re into DIY or custom projects. Great quality, great results, and an unbeatable value for the price! Con- the directions are very small print.

This is easy to use if you don’t mind manually setting the temp and time yourself rather than having an app do it with the easypress3. I don’t think the app version is worth it. I have both and only ever set them both manually. It really is so easy and by the time you go to set it on the app you can easily look up what to set it at. I also have too many apps and not enough patience for that! This heats us nicely and the edge to edge heating is nice. It’s also so much better than a regular iron for doing vinyl designs because of the large area it covers and the precise heating and timer. It also has a big handle for either moving it for ironing or applying pressure if you need to push on it for your vinyl, sublimation etc. Overall, it is very user friendly and works well. It’s also great to iron large cuts of fabric because it is quicker than an iron.
