I was doing my daughter's wedding invitations using a very heavy cardstock for the outer invitation folders. The outer flap has an intricate cut pattern and after cutting four folders using a new "regular" fine point blade, the corners in the cuts were curling and tearing during the cut process. I had to throw them out. I put in this blade hoping to get more than four out of it before having to use a new blade. Amazingly, I cut another 90 folders with it, and no issues at all. I did occasionally wipe the blade to remove tiny bits of debris, but the same blade is still in my machine, and I have used it for additional projects. This blade really has the ability to stay sharp! Absolutely worth the extra $$ ! ... show more
