I am pleased with the Creworks sonic cleaner. It seems to work well, is expectedly noisy although I don't find its noise level objectionable, and has good design. The handles are cool and convenient to grip, the interior surface is stainless steel, of course, and cleans easily, and I have had no problem with the exterior finish. This one has the electronic controls which are fine with me, but I think I might have liked the manual controls a bit better--easier to operate. Heat is variable, timing goes up to 30 minutes, de-gas feature is excellent, and the gentle cycle is nice to have available. The 3-liter size works very well for jewelry, eyeglasses, and dental items, yet the overall size is quite manageable, doesn't weight much, and takes up little counter space. The unit is made in China, so I shall see if longevity turns out to be a problem. But for now I am very pleased with this product and use it daily. ... show more

This sonic cleaner does it's job well. It makes noise (after all its an ultrasonic cleaner) but it is not loud at all. Heating does take a while, and controlling the heat is a bit difficult. Overall I think this was a good buy.

Performs as advertised. Checked power draw with watt meter and the heater and ultrasonic output match the advertised powers. Unit takes about 1 hr to hear 5 gallons of water to 170 degrees. Degassing mode works great to get the air bubbles out. Unit worked great but is a little loud.

Update: received a full refund from creworks. Company is responsive and does listen to it's customers ugh. I had bought the creworks 10L silver model just to find that the heater was wildly inaccurate, and took FOREVER to heat up, so I returned it. Bought this bigger 15L version with more features and a larger heater. worked fine for 3 small cleanings. heater was faster to heat, and was only about 4-5 degrees off from what was displayed when reached. I was fine with that. I do fragile low temp cleanings. today I turned it on to pre-warm it to 75F went to work on another project for about 30 min and then came back to check on the temp. Display said 75F I took of the lid and was met with a burst of steam! put my thermometer in it and the fluid temp was 160F+!!! and it was making a strange noise. Guess I can no longer trust this thing to not burn down my house or destroy my projects. Does anybody make one of these things that works correctly?? Guess Im going to have to spend twice as much on one that wont make me nervous every time I plug it in. These are not UL listed, so buyer beware ... show more

Works like a charm on automotive parts. I used straight PineSol. However it is loud in frequencies humans can not hear. I realized that my ears were ringing. Apple watch also indicated over 90dB. Make sure to not run this close to you for a prolonged time!
