Cannot say enough good things about this product. My teeth are so white that friends have pointed it out! Also, even if you don't use it for a while, your teeth remain white. Note: I use it every night so I do get some sensitivity. It's not unbearable but with how frequently I use it it's not a miniscule amonunt of sensitivity either. I tried Crest whitening strips about 5 years ago and to me it seemed like it didn't really whiten at all, and it was difficult to keep the strips in place. My mouth produces a lot of saliva, and so they just slid all over the place and so I gave up. I decided to try these after I got a $400 quote from my dentist for a whitening procedure. Given that COVID makes dentist visits a little risky, and the high cost, I decided to try this emulsions product. I did a 7-day experiment where I used it after breakfast and at bed time for 7 days. My teeth were pretty discolored from daily coffee etc, so there was a lot of room for improvement. I definitely noticed improvement at the end of 7 days, and my wife did too. To my eye, the improvement was probably not as good as my dentist would have gotten (since my brother-in-law had done his via dentist and his teeth ended up pearly white). However, I am smiling more, and with confidence. Regarding application, one does have to start with a dry surface. I found that much easier to do for the top front teeth than for the bottom, which tended to get wet due to a prolific salivary gland. As a result, my tops seem whiter than the bottoms, but not distracting... just noticeable when I look close. Instructions say to just "apply and go." I found better results if I tried to keep my lips off of my teeth for a while after application. Typically, after application, I'd keep my lips off my teeth as best I could while lying down to watch TV or read for a half hour. I'd say this product is definitely worth a try. Yes, is more expensive than strips, but for me the strips just didn't work, so that was just throwing money away. ... show more

When I spoke to Crest about whitening products this was the one that the P&G rep was most enthusiastic about based upon her conversations with those who use it. Thus, I was looking for this to be more effective than Crest white strips which had not provided me with as much whitening to my teeth as I'd hoped for. After three weeks of using this two to three times a day, I am seeing similar results to the white strips. It's gotten my teeth a shade whiter but it certainly hasn't been a meaningful transformation. What I like about this product compared to the whitestrips is that it is quicker to apply and certainly easier. Thus, it gets 4 stars for ease of use. My preferred time to use this product has been before bed time. If you use it during the day, it starts to wear off when you drink some water or eat something and I find it hard not to take a sip of water every once in a while. Also, a lot of product comes in the tube so it should last for a longer time than the white strips. ... show more

I have always believed Crest to be a superlative product. However, this product is absolutely useless for its purposes. It is a gel which DOES NOT stick to your teeth therefore even after you dry your teeth, as per package instructions, the gel does not stick to teeth as your natural saliva washes product away in seconds. No matter how many attempts I made, it was fruitless for product have enough time to be effective. It was a waste of $40.00 and extremely disappointed in the product. I have never written a review therefore this review tells you how disappointing the product was. ... show more

Works. Dentists won’t do teeth whitening procedures anymore. My dentist’s office recommended this. Teeth get white pretty quickly. And you don’t have to brush after a set amt of time. No pain or discomfort. Fairly convenient.
