Buying this Crest three-pack on Amazon is way cheaper than picking it up at the grocery store every month. The minty Scope flavor is much stronger than a regular toothpaste and it actually keeps my breath fresh for hours after brushing. I drink a lot of coffee so I appreciate that it handles surface stains well enough to keep my smile looking clean. This multi-pack is easily the best way to keep the house stocked without spending too much on a basic household staple. The biggest downside lately is the consistency since the paste has become really runny and almost feels like a thin gel. It tends to slide right off the brush if I am not careful and it makes a sticky mess around the cap. I also had some weird white skin peeling inside my cheeks after using it for a week which is apparently a common reaction. This oral sloughing is a bit gross but it is something to watch for if you have a sensitive mouth or gums. This bulk pack is still a great deal for anyone who wants long-lasting freshness and does not mind a slightly thinner paste. You should probably pass on this version if your mouth is sensitive or if you really prefer a traditional thick and firm toothpaste. It still does exactly what it is supposed to for cavity protection even if the new soupy texture makes it feel cheaper.
