The Cressi Skin 1mm is a lightweight, flexible unisex wetsuit perfect for snorkeling, diving, and other water sports. Crafted from 1mm poliamida (nylon), it provides excellent thermal protection, elasticity, and comfort. Its highly breathable fabric ensures full freedom of movement and can be worn as a base layer under a neoprene suit for added warmth. The suit's anatomical design with a snug fit ensures optimal performance in water. It features finger loops on the wrists and an ankle retention system to prevent shifting during use. Additionally, it offers UV 40+ protection, making it an excellent choice for sun exposure during aquatic activities.

For a slim person, this is one of the few budget options for rashguards within "real" watersport brands. I've used this two times so far as a layer underneath a wetsuit, and the only complaint I have is that the zipper is too rugged for a centered front zip. The teeth and slider are both very thick, like the anti-leak zippers on a wetsuit. You might think this is a good thing - it's a moving part and being overbuilt is only a positive. And if this is your outer layer, this might be right! Unfortunately, when used underneath another garment with a high neck, the oversized zipper will be pressed into your neck above and between the collar bones pretty hard, making it difficult to breathe in a relaxed manner as is necessary for snorkeling and scuba. Unzipping slightly doesn't help much because the teeth are also extremely thick and rough. I ended up unzipping over an inch and folding the collar area under my wetsuit just below my collarbones, which was uncomfortable and left me with red marks for hours afterwards, but didn't interfere with breathing and swallowing. Honestly, I would find a knock-off alternative if you're in the sub-$50 price range. Save some money, get a back zip or diagonal chest zip, choose from more attractive designs. I have one of those as well, and aside from a lack of foot and thumb straps, it meets or beats the Cressi in every category. ... show more

I just received my suit and tried it on. Fits well and I'm looking forward to using this for paddleboarding. My only reason(s) for less than 5 stars (and I'd love the option to give 4.5) is that firstly mine didn't come quite as pictured. I ordered the black and silver and mine came with a black zipper instead of the silver as pictured. Not a huge deal.... but not what I ordered. Secondly, the thumb straps do not appear to be lined up correctly for being usable over my thumbs and they're pretty small .... they cut off circulation (I don't have big hands so I imagine a man might find them more challenging). The arm material has to be twisted a bit to reach the thumb... not comfortable at all. It seems more in line with my forefinger but any stretching to reach either finger causes the material to roll back in stead of down for more coverage. I think part of this problem is caused by the thumb holes not being sewn to the end of the arm but down about a half inch inside the arm at the cuff seam. Its position is more in line with the forefinger but doesn't work on either. Any pulling at all to put on the forefinger or thumb rolls it back. So I'll not be using the thumb holes..... might try to fashion something myself if needed. Minor things really. I was just very excited to find a skin suit noted to be for taller people. I have long legs and arms, I'm busty (34E)but I'm not particularly large elsewhere with a shorter torso (5'9 150lbs.... typically wear a size 8 or 10). So far this suit seems to fit me just right. The legs are long enough that the stirrups don't pull the crotch down into penguin mode (long legged people KNOW what I'm talking about..... pantyhose were ALWAYS a nightmare experience). Women's clothing has always been too short in the arms as well.... so I'm happy to report this suit adequately reaches all the way over my wrists... Yay! If I remember, I'll update after my first real usage. So far so good. Hoping to have many sun protected paddleboard outings with this suit. ... show more
