The mask offers great clarity and visibility, and the snorkel does a fantastic job of keeping water out of the tube while being easy to clear if any does splash down. I find the flexible joint much more comfortable to use and adjust the angle vs the fixed ones I've used as rentals before. They say there are no good masks, only masks that are great for your face. This one fits my face very well. I tested it by holding it to my face without using the strap and breathed in from my nose and it stayed tightly in place. I tried 3 other masks and none of them held up so well. Now I used it a few times in the ocean and it never leaked. I did experience some issues with leaking under the nose area when I first used it, but it was because of my beard and after I shaved, I didnt have any issues. Because the nose section is separated from the mask, it doesn't fog up on me like other masks. The fins are very good at letting out loose rocks and easily adjustable inside the water. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the air tube. The plastic bob inside got stuck on a few times making me unable to take in air. It's the only part of this set made in China. The fins are shorter than normal fins so it packs very easily in my luggage. The mask fits a wide range of faces so was able to share it with other people.

Used this set in Maldives, found the face mask was leaking due to a tiny crease from a plastic mold, it is like having a hair permanently trapped in the sealing surface. However I traded with my wife's US divers mask and it didn't leak for her. Could probably fix it with a dremel tool or something. The fins work well and the snorkel is great, in choppy water it keeps water out of the snorkel extremely well. ... show more

We like to snorkel on vacation, definitely not pros. We had been using full face snorkels but it turns out that they aren't very safe and the snorkeling guides don't like them. I researched and bought these for a trip to Mexico. Our guide smiled when I brought it out and said, "Good brand!" And he showed us that he uses the same one.
