𝙔𝙤𝙪.” I hardly know where to begin—this debut novel left me utterly captivated. From the very first page, I was completely absorbed, and by the end, I was both heartbroken and exhilarated. It’s hard to believe this is a debut because the storytelling is that good—raw, intense, and emotionally charged. The protagonist, Collins, instantly drew me in. Her journey from a vulnerable young girl to a resilient, fierce woman was powerful to witness. Her life hasn’t been easy, but her strength and determination to survive and thrive felt deeply authentic. And the dynamics between her and the two main men in her life, Creed and Riley, were written to perfection. The slow burn of their relationship development was undeniable, building tension and tenderness in equal measure. I loved how Creed’s stoic, protective nature balanced Riley’s lighthearted, endearing personality. They were each so different, yet together, they complemented each other and Collins in ways that felt natural and unforced. The emotional depth of this book is staggering. There were moments that broke my heart, especially as Collins faced her past trauma. But the found family aspect, the way these characters came together to heal and support one another, was equally uplifting. Creed and Riley’s relationship with Collins is more than just romantic—there’s a sense of shared history, vulnerability, and trust that makes their bond feel real and unshakable. And the plot? Wow. It’s an absolute rollercoaster. From the shocking prologue to the heart-pounding twists and turns, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. The tension was off the charts, and just when I thought I could breathe, the story would yank me back into its grip. The cliffhanger at the end left me in shambles—I’m still reeling, trying to piece together what comes next. The nuances in the character relationships were masterfully handled, particularly with Creed’s deep-seated need to care for Riley, given his difficult past, and how Collins fits into their lives so perfectly. It’s a romance, yes, but it’s also a story of redemption, healing, and overcoming the darkest parts of yourself with the help of those who truly love you. I also loved the spice—though it was a bit far-fetched, I was too engrossed in the emotional payoff to mind much. And Creed’s possessive, alpha nature was both frustrating and endearing in the best way possible. All in all, this novel is an unforgettable, dark rockstar romance. It’s gripping, emotionally charged, and deeply moving. I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment! “𝙄’𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚. Wow ok I have been keeping this book on my tbr due to i was told it leaves on a cliffhanger, and the second book wasn't out yet. But Meg, the author in the prologue, does give you the last chapter of the book, and you can choose to read it our not. I chose to read it so it would set my mind up and heart for the cliffhanger, which it did. Collins, at age 9, had a hard life, but her brother Asher and his best friend, who were 18, had taken care of her as the best they could. She loved them and also had a school girl love for Creed. At 18, Creed was signed with his band, and Asher left for college to pursue his baseball dreams. They left her with a Polaroid camera and stationary. She wrote them so much and sent pics, but her life took a turn and was placed in foster care due to Asher or Creed would not taking responsibility for her. She lost all contact with them but wrote one final letter before she turned 18 to Asher to save her from her foster father. He got the letter too late and for 2 years she went missing. This book thrn enters in now Creed 29 and his band. Collins is being found in a bad state. Creed and Asher have extreme guilt over their choices, and the more they learn about her life, the worse it gets. Riley has his own trauma, and Creed took him in to give him a life that was better and save him like he couldn't save Collins. My heart broke for Riley and his story. I loved the relationship between Riley and Creed. Collins and him and then eventually all 3. At 70%, it stalled a tad bit for me, but she was trying to build a throple i supposed. The suspense was there and heartbreaking as well. The only other thing that held me back from the 5 stars is how easy Asher and Creed were forgiven, Collins loves then and I know Asher went through stuff and Creed was not her family technically but I needed Collins a little bit more bitter and make them a little bit more accountable. I mean, she went through hell, and as a kid, they woild never leave her side, and thwn boom.nothing. I can't wait for book 2. I really liked Megs writing. ... show more

Great book. Spice was amazing but man so excruciating to read. Definitely cried. And the loving words between the characters, just wow. Starting the next book. Got to get that HEA. So much love between the characters, the things they are heart melting. Loving the MMCs. The FMC is flipping awesome.
