I usually don't write these things but, this product has to got my attention. I will try to answer as many of your questions as possible. One, it's cheap, keep that in mind. Two, the you must READ the instructions. Three, for the money, you can't beat it.. Four, I paid $95.00 for mine. Five, MINE is Awesome for the money I spent. Six, and finally, PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and understand them, if you don't, get someone who does, okay?? Hope that you all find them as helpful as I did. Thank you ... show more

Pretty good nighttime viewing. The IR works great, the zoom levels work great, its fairly easy to setup and learn to use. The daytime pictures are odd though; blurry and when you can get it to focus using the dial on the front end its off-color and looks like an old picture you may have taken on a disposable camera and had developed at walmart. Overall though I am glad to have it and have no major issues, I use it during hunts and hikes to photograph wildlife, waterfowl, deer, squirrels etc. ... show more

It is very unhelpful to have reviews that aren't about this exact product model, a fact I didn't know until after I bought it. This whole chain of Creative products is confusing. one assumes increases in pricing and basic description indicates continuity of the basics but with improvements. Example: regular batteries to rechargeable. However, there are other changes that go negative in value as the price and model goes up. Confusing. Also, found some problems already. Can't get the card nor the battery out, and the IR illuminator appears to have lower power. Also what the heck model is this? A Condor or an Owl? Bother appear separately on the box and the product. its all rather confusing. 2nd comment: after testing, I found the field of vision, the small screen and the low IR power made this device impractical. I even added a small IR "flashlight" and while it did add distance and more illuminating, that still didn't make this device useable. Perhaps in an open field at just the right distance one can see a cow at night, but all in all... Its a low price for an impractical "night vision. That is the camo Condo/owl one. Not the black one in many of these other reviews. See " confusing " above. ... show more

UPDATE 12152024- Don't buy. I've "tried" to used this regularly and its rough. The viewing screen is so hard on your eyes. Cannot see after looking through it. Buttons are noisy. It lit up the entire blind when i took it doen from my eye. If you're attempting to use it in a bad guy situation, you just as well put a flashing strobe on your position. Not sure what I expected for the $, but save your $. AUG2024-Buttons are not in a good place. No matter how I find that I position my hand, it's not comfortable to use the buttons. They click when pressed. Not exactly an ideal feature. The eye cup is hard & uncomfortable. The screen is so bright that it will literally light up the wall behind me upon turning on. Zoom is average. They charging port is poorly installed & SD card port is loose. Poor quality control. ... show more

This ir monocular is absolutely amazing. I was concerned with low price meaning low quality. That isn't the case. The image is very clear and the magnification Isa tremendous help.
