  • Fixed a broken hot end
Color: Red
After 5 years of use, the hot end on my Ender 3 began flaking out (rougher wall finish/layers and poor PID tuning). I attempted to fix the stock hot end by disassembling and applying a higher heat rates thermal paste but it did not improve it (side comment: buy boron based paste or you are going to end up with a cement block). I bought this primarily because of the inclusion of Capricorn tubing, longer wire lengths and installed connector on the thermistor. I reworked mine with the hot end mod (separate Bowden tube). This is a really simple fix that, in my opinion, drastically improves the sealing and performance. I have had zero leaks since moving to this and greatly improved surface quality. After installing, filament went through easy, temps went back to being stable and most of all my surface finish went back to what it used to be. We will see on long term durability. ... show more

  • Great fit, better than original hotend.
Color: Red
Aside from upgrading to a glass bed and printing a few guides & aesthetic gimmicks, my ender 3 is bone stock. Factory hotend lasted ~2 years before nonstop recent headaches, this replacement seems perfect. Installation is simple & straightforward, hardest bit was fishing wires through protective sleeves and removing a bit of tape off my original wire harness. First print took 12+hours, thing 3708108 (angle grinder disc case) base piece. No signs of over/under cooking filament, no signs of over/ under extrusion. One of the cleanest prints I've gotten from this machine! I wouldn't hesitate to order again IF i don't end up upgrading to a direct drive setup before i burn this out. Even so i may order a couple to keep on hand. Absolutely worth its $15 price. ... show more

  • Better than the factory hotend
Color: Red
My original Ender 3 Pro hotend lasted for less that 100 hours before it stopped heating to temp. I bought this as a replacement. It took maybe 30 minutes to install and I was back in business . I had expected this to be an equal replacement but it is better. I was in the middle of printing multiple quantities of the same piece and the pieces printed with this new hotend are smoother and just look more professional. Same gcode file, nothing changed in the settings, just new hotend. ... show more

  • Perfect replacement head for my Ender 3
Color: Red
Wanted a complete head for a backup if mine failed. Works perfectly

  • Good Beginning Hotend
Color: Red
I like it.... I want to like it..... But I have had 6 failed prints - the printer just clogs and stops printing, I reviewed everything I could think of. My last conclusion is that the hotend is faulty and cooling off after 8 hours of printing, it is pretty random. Very frustrating - could just need a new heater core but not sure I want to invest in troubleshooting a new hotend. Edit - Changing review to 5 stars. I realized that my issues stim from a poorly configured slicer. I had to uninstall the program and reinstall it, then the prints are fine. Something in the GCode was off. So I am keeping this as it was my mistake, and giving a 5 star review. Thank you! ... show more

  • Horrible Quality and came with defective wires.
Color: Red
The first issue I had was when I opened the box and saw the state of the item. The red cords are all kinked and looked worse for ware. Also, be warned this product doesn’t come with any of the screws to be able to replace out the part so you have to use the original screws for the head. Which to me at first I was like “okay no biggy” Then comes the instillation process which I had multiple problems with the product. The first issue was the ends of the red wires were already fraying and frayed even worse when I got it installed into the ender printer I have. Which was frustrating but I was fine with it as long as it would work. Now, comes in the real issue. After I installed the part completely. I now have an annoying error where it states that “the nozzle is too higherature.” After doing research on this error I have never once seen before, it’s said that it would be the thermistor screw being the culprit. I did everything that was said online for loosing it and tried tightening it. Still continue to have the same error popping up. Then I took a closer look at how my old wires on that piece were connected to the heating element. And I compared to the new wires and have discovered that during manufacturing the wires must have been sealed too close together for the red wires. So, that could be the culprit as well. But, At this point I’ve been working on my 3D printer for weeks and now my 3D printers even more unusable. What started as some broken fillement in my 3D printer and deciding to just get a better heating element and new tubing with it; has now evolved into a part that’s supposed to “fix” the issues into creating an even bigger issue. And with the return policies and being limited on my own time at the loss of the time trying to install I’m just accepting this as a complete loss. Definitely a waste of money. Definitely disappointed. ... show more

  • OEM Creality Hot End Replacement
Color: Red
Creality Ender OEM Hot End replacement. You will need to replace your hot end at some point. Even if you think there is nothing wrong with yours, this is a quick and inexpensive tune up for your Creality Ender Model 3d printer. It is a little difficult to wire it back through the sleeve and get the new one installed, but it is so inexpensive that it just balances itself out. This is the exact same hot end you would get stock with your 3d printer. ... show more

  • Can't complain if the other hotend died.
Color: Red
Got this because the hotend on my Ender 3 Pro had died for some reason.. Not the part that heats up, the thermistor. Once that died, there was smoke... because the hotend thought it was 40C, when it was really on a runaway overheating and was burning off the residue of all the past prints, and then the insulation on the heating element wires.. and then the silicone thing around the nozzle. I'm just glad I was sitting next to the printer instead of doing it remotely from Octopi so I could shut it off. This was a perfect replacement, I cut the wires and spliced them in with the old ones because I didn't want to to feed them through the Chinese Handcuffs that the wire assembly goes through, and it all came out fine. ... show more
