We had been having some problems getting a level bed and I decided to experiment with these new springs and nuts to see if they could help. Oh boy! Great decision. The springs are visibly superior to the ones that came with the Ender 3 V2. Installation was simple. The larger wheels with better gnurling made leveling the bed easier.     • Great upgrade for a Creality CR-6 SE
If you're using this item to modify a Creality CR-6 SE to a manually-leveling bed, you'll need four 25mm M4 counter-sunk and hex-head screws to complete the project. The wheels are really well-made aluminum and work great. Turning "one spoke turn" moves the bed about 0.2mm up or down. The springs are robust and don't seem like they'll deform under pressure. I bought these because I got a 3D printer from an estate sale and it was missing one of the wheels and I noticed one of the springs were a little rusty. I wanted to go with an auto leveling system, but 1) I'm brand new to 3D printing, and 2) I read mixed reviews on auto leveling. A lot said it worked great for a bit, then it stopped leveling correctly. I even read these reviews before I bought this and I saw a few went back to springs after having issues with the auto levelers. So since I'm just getting started I figured I'd take my chances with these. I've been using them for a couple months now and I have not had to readjust them at all. Keep in mind I'm not running a 3D print business so just a handful of prints per week. It was a quick and easy swap, the wheels seem solid as opposed to some of the plastic ones which aren't as durable and that would have been a deal breaker for me. So in my opinion they have been great for what they cost. Again, this is from the perspective of someone new to 3D printers, so I'm happy they work like a champ and I have not had to readjust them every few prints. ... show more

Bought these for my Ender 3 Pro. They are an improvement from the stock springs but not perfect. For one, they don't have directional arrows and I always forget which way is up vs down. I had to print out a reminder. Also, they are still not quite strong enough and I still have to adjust my bed from time to time, but less often than before. ... show more

Got these for my Ender 3. They work great, a lot more tension on them. Had to use factory spring on the Left rear one. Had it tightened all the way and it was still too high to level. Other ones are fine. Easy to install.

    • It's an upgrade, but overkill
You really don't need new knobs. The knobs which come with the V2 are just fine. All this thing is is that the spring are a bit heavier diameter. But hey, it's 11 bucks, not going to kill me, but these upgrades after upgrades are mostly not needed. The best thing you could get would be the BLTouch, but it's still recommended you get the level pretty close to begin with (which also makes no sense to me, since the whole point of the BLtouch is to make adjustments on the fly). ... show more
