Saved up for this purchase. Bought the Creality because the printers were always good. Received the Laser on time and in great condition. But, have not been able to use it. The printer ships with a SD card that has the needed machine files for it to work seamlessly with LightBurn, test files, and instructions. The SD card that came with this machine was blank and non formatted, no files. Have tried for the last 5 days to get help from Creality to get the needed files. Looked online, and on the Creality support site. At the writing of this review still no help from Creality. The device is basically a brick. I did get in contact with a support agent via chat on the Creality web site. the agent said he would forward my concern and I would be contacted. I asked for contact information or support ticket number for reference and he stopped the chat. So, the hardware might be really good, but if you have a problem you will be on your own! You will need to decide if this is worth the price if you have a issue. I will cut my losses and send this back to Amazon as a damaged device.

The Creality Falcon 10W is like that super-talented, artsy friend who’s a little too mysterious—you know they’re brilliant, but they make you work for it. The engraving precision? Chef’s kiss. It slices, it dices, it engraves your hopes and dreams into wood, metal, and anything else you throw at it. But figuring out how to actually make it work? Oh boy, that’s a scavenger hunt for the ages. I’ll be honest: the manual was about as helpful as a soggy napkin. I spent hours clicking buttons and staring at the thing like it owed me rent. Then I did what any modern problem-solver would—I joined a Facebook group. Luckily, the internet hive mind came to my rescue, and once I finally got it running, it was worth the struggle. The 10W laser power and tiny 0.06mm spot size? Absolutely chef-tier. It’s perfect for everything from delicate leather engravings to bold cuts on wood. But the software… let’s just say we’re still getting to know each other. It’s like an awkward first date that’s slowly growing into a promising relationship. Overall, this machine is a keeper, but you’ll need patience, some DIY spirit, and maybe a Facebook buddy or two. Four stars for the learning curve, but once you crack the code, it’s a masterpiece in motion. An acquired taste, but one I’m starting to love.

it has everything to do your project except for the essential program to run it. You will need to get a design program to craft your project and then a laser burning program like Dragon Burn to actually use the laser to burn the project. according to more experienced hobbyist may want to have a system of venting the fumes out of the project area. It is extra cost not anticipated.

I was really excited to get this machine but have not been able to get it to communicate with my computer. It seems to me missing some type of driver. A lot of people on The Internet's been saying the exact same thing. I've been using it through the SD card but that will wear out eventually taking the card in and out multiple times. If anybody knows anything please help It seems to need some Espressif CDC Devices a driver maybe???

I purchased this laser as an upgrade to my smaller laser. I thought it was a good deal for the price. The set up was not as easy as the instructions said it would be. I had a problem with adding the laser and the holder to the tracks. I think that I accidentally set up cross x-axis support crooked and when I fired up the laser, it did not cut well at all. I had to disassemble the frame and try to adjust the drive bands that move the laser in the y-axis. I had to resort to using YouTube to get suggestions to fine tune the cut. I bought this unit so that I could add a rotary unit to use the laser on can and cups and other round objects. I quickly found out that I was gonna have trouble setting this up. I had to take apart the laser looking for the correct wires to connect the rotary unit. Then I found out that the connector plugs were not compatible with each other. When I put the laser control box back together and connected the power, I found that the laser would not move. Sorry, I just can not recommend this unit unless you can assemble the laser correctly. This should be a good laser, just not for me.
