This is the first printer I have ever owned. Thankfully, I did A LOT of research and learning before I bought this. The manual that comes in the box is garbage. There are several assembly videos out there and they are great and easy to follow. After you assemble it, there is nothing that tells you what to do next. Nothing to educate you on how to get prints to the printer, nothing about how to handle or prepare the printer plate. Thank GOD for YouTubers that made videos. I still haven't found one that explains what I'm supposed to do on that "first layer" however, I finally figured out where there was the old "benchy" test print file and printed it. It turned our FLAWLESS as you can see in my video. I highly recommend this product BUT do you research. Learn what does what and about settings. Otherwise, you're on your own.

When you purchase something you really expect it to work. Right off the bat, the packaging was phenomenal, everything was packaged really well and I’m not really sure what went wrong. Instructions were really clear, about the best I’ve seen for any machine I’ve purchased. The 3-D printer was fairly easy to assemble. I was very optimistic about getting everything set up to print. Even though this has auto leveling, you still have to level it. I watched numerous videos on how to do that, in the process of doing that I thought I had everything squared away at first it was printing, but as you could see on my test models that it wasn’t printing right so going over the leveling and auto leveling multiple times over and over, continuing to print the test models that are provided on the memory chip it seem like I was never gonna get it right. I even had my husband level it over and over and it still was not printing right if you were gonna get this, I really suggest having a test roll of filament, not something that’s expensive. After about 15 tries of printing, the machine stopped extruding filament. I cleaned the nozzle used the lever to push the filament through to make sure it was not clogged then continuing to print numerous times with it still not working. Eventually, after 3 days I just had to throw in the towel because I’m not sure what happened or if there was something wrong with the machine and unfortunately I had to send it back I hope in the future I can give this model a try again.

Bought this to get into 3d printing. Great price and pretty good quality. This maybe cheap but it works well as long as you can tinker with it. That being said there is a learning curve. Make sure to join a forum to learn the tricks. If you are not mechanical ot technical you might want to spend more on a different model. Otherwise I'm happy with mine.

The Creality Ender3 NEO is a great quality hobby grade FDM 3D printer. Assembly was quick and easy and I was able to produce quality prints immediately after assembling it. Further calibration has resulted in exceptional print quality. This printer by itself is not the fastest or most feature rich printer on the market but it is among the best comparable printers and the price point for the level of quality will be difficult to match. Though, I highly recommend checking every screw, even screws in the pre-assembled parts. It is clear that these printers are assembled in a hurry and QC at times may be lacking. Just check over everything as you assemble your printer and don't get in a hurry. When removing all of the pieces from the box, be sure to cover the ends of the bundle of aluminum extrusions. I did not and the Z-axis screw that was bundled up with these parts slid out and put a nice chip in the glass plate on my print bed so watch out for that. This is a great printer for getting stated but don't expect super fast industrial printer quality. This is a small 220x220mm desktop hobby printer. I would buy this printer again and in fact, as of this morning I've just ordered my second one.

I have zero experience with printing. This is my absolute first printer, and I am already in love with it. Setting it up was easy. Getting on the app and actually figuring everything out and making my first print was easy and I thought I was gonna bumble this in 47 different ways. Highly recommend.

This printer is pretty awesome. Here is the biggest catch to it. We have spent hundreds of dollars on the app and or validating what we could buy between buying filament and everything else. This thing does not connect properly. It is very technical if you are not smart. This is a terrible thing to buy. I’m a very educated person and so are the other 3 to 4 people in my household that have all tried to use this thing it will not let you change individuals to print off it and even the amount of money you spend to buy credit credits and or other items that you want to purchase in the store do not print properly. This sucks don’t buy it even though this equipment is awesome. This is the worst thing I wish I’d never bought. I do not say this in the test and or ignorance I have studied. I have read up. I’ve looked at forums. I’ve been on Reddit. Everyone says this creatality is extremely difficult and we have definitely found this out firsthand. I would definitely return this, but I think my window has closed. It sucks when you buy a product and you have it for like 2 to 3 weeks before you get to use it but then your window to return it is closed. The app does not match what is online and or if you have more than one person that wants to print, you cannot share unless the other person is logged out and even if the person is logged out, it does not always match the same, so for example, I have tons of money and credit on my account, but it will not let me print out certain apps and or creations then it tells me that it will work on our item that we have purchased, but then it’ll say it does not work. It will not print. 3-D printer is a scam. It sucks. It has great potential but this is not the one for you. Don’t waste your money too much money.

I bought this last year 2023 for son Christmas & he’s never gotten it to work! After several days and hours and hours trying to troubleshoot it- ITS NEVER Worked!! The Instructions are very hard to follow and not clear at all! Wasted money !!!
