The creality cr-6 se has a tempered glass bed as the stock print bed surface. It works really well as long as it's kept clean with soapy warm water and then dried with a lint free cloth or paper towels. One problem is getting prints to break away from the bed. If you want it off immediately, you are going to have to use some force, or you will need to wait until the bed cools most of the way. That is where a spring steel bed comes into play. Not only has every print I've done stuck really well to this bed, but getting the prints off is as easy as taking the plate off and slightly bending it. Prints break away super easy and you are able to get back to printing again quickly. I love the texture on the this plate as I've been wanting to test out fuzzy skin for all walls and having a textured plate helps in that regard. Oh ya, it's the right size for the cr-6 se too. That's something that can't be overlooked when you are looking for a replacement printing surface. So far, I've been happy with it. The only caveat with this is that I couldn't just attach the sticky magnet that the plate adheres to directly to the printers heated surface because the print head isn't able to go down far enough to touch the plate for homing and setting the Zed offset. If the Zed sensor was adjustable and able to be moved down slightly, this wouldn't have been as issue. What I had to do is mount the magnet to the glass bed. So far this has worked just fine, but it was annoying to have to do.

A friend gave/loaned me a printer that had the course build plate. I don't need that tough of build holding so I got this and it's been great. That's a cig pack I'm working on. My current protocol is a print finishes, I peel the plate off, stick it in the fridge for 10 minutes, and the parts come off seamlessly. If you have a printer that takes this plate I highly recommend it. The magnets kept coming off the machine so I put some quick set epoxy under them and now it's a piece of cake to do my process

I printed after cleaning with rubbing alcohol and prints would be effectively glued to the surface to the point I had to heat and freeze the plate a few times and use a lot of force with a print removal tool. It built up residue that I couldn't get off so I went in with 100% acetone which revealed a coating of some sort that started peeling up on the edges where I hadn't printed yet. I thought I'd ruined it at first till I realized what was happening. Only acetone seemed to affect it! After a thorough cleaning with acetone and then a long rinse with hot water I did a final pass with alcohol to remove oil from handling and the thing is pristine with great adhesion but perfectly releases prints after cooling off like it should! Do this one simple trick to prevent uber-adhesion! :D
