  • Well worth the money!!!
Color: Falcon-A1 10W Gray
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Creality Falcon A1 Laser Engraver Review After using the Creality Falcon A1, I can honestly say it has been a major upgrade from my previous laser setup. The enclosed design makes it feel much more professional and safer to operate, especially when working in a home shop or mobile workspace. The machine was straightforward to assemble and get running. One of the biggest improvements is the built-in camera system, which helps with material positioning and project alignment. Once connected properly, it makes placing designs much easier than manually measuring and guessing. The engraving quality is impressive, producing clean lines and crisp details on wood, leather, painted surfaces, and other common crafting materials. The cutting performance is consistent, and the machine holds its calibration well between projects. I also appreciate the Wi-Fi connectivity and compatibility with LightBurn. While the initial setup required a little learning, the machine integrates well once configured. The enclosed cabinet helps contain smoke and debris while reducing noise compared to open-frame lasers. Pros ✔ Enclosed design for improved safety ✔ Built-in camera for material positioning ✔ Excellent engraving detail and accuracy ✔ Compatible with LightBurn ✔ Wi-Fi connectivity ✔ Professional appearance and operation ✔ Holds calibration better than many entry-level open-frame lasers Cons ✘ Camera and network setup can have a learning curve ✘ LightBurn camera configuration may require additional setup ✘ Larger learning curve for users upgrading from basic diode lasers Overall Rating: 4.8/5 ⭐ For hobbyists, small business owners, and makers looking to move beyond an entry-level laser, the Creality Falcon A1 offers a significant step up in convenience, safety, and capability. For my business, it has already proven to be a worthwhile upgrade and a more reliable machine than my previous open-frame laser. — Nichole, Owner of NickelsNicNaks ... show more

  • Great beginner laser! Cuts and Engraves nicely
Color: Falcon-A1 10W Gray
Crazy awesome laser! I've cut and engraved and this is been great. Learning the software wasn't too bad and there's others out there you can use. I'm going to use this to start selling items. Only complaint here is I wish the laser was upgradable without having to buy a whole new unit.

  • Frustrating Setup, Poor Software, Unhelpful Support
Color: Falcon-A1 10W Gray
UPDATE: While Creality did reach out and offer a replacement, finally providing the level of customer service that should have been there from the start, a new machine won’t fix the product’s underlying issues. At this point, I still can’t get the machine to connect reliably. It worked a few times last night, then stopped. I’ve restarted everything: the engraver, the software, my computer. I have to reinstall the driver every time, close all my apps, and reboot my system just to maybe get a connection. Even then, it usually fails. This is a consistent and frustrating issue. When the engraver does manage to connect, I’m forced to stay next to it doing my other work, afraid to disconnect, because once I do, there’s no guarantee I can get it working again. That’s exactly what’s happening now. It’s maddening that there isn’t a simple option like using an SD card to run jobs directly. That would solve two major problems: 1. We wouldn’t need to be tethered to a computer. 2. It would bypass all these connectivity issues. Also, I’ve never been able to get Falcon Studio Design to work. I had to pay $100 for Lightburn just to make any use of the machine – which is unacceptable. It’s hard to believe a company would release a product without properly addressing these basic functionality concerns. If it’s not Mac-compatible, say so clearly – or better yet, provide a real solution. This will be my first and last Creality purchase. INITIAL REVIEW: So far this engraver has functioned more as an expensive paperweight than a usable tool. The software is clunky, counterintuitive, and feels like it was designed without any real understanding of user experience. Connection issues are constant, and it’s clear the company is aware. There’s even a small note on the product page directing you to their website if you're having trouble connecting. Unfortunately, that page is no help either. It just lists obvious troubleshooting steps like restarting or checking cables – things you've likely already tried. When I reached out to customer service, the response was equally disappointing. The representative, "Mark Anthony," greeted me with a casual "hi" and communicated entirely in lowercase with no punctuation, making the conversation feel unprofessional. I'm pretty sure I was speaking to an 8 year old. The software itself is a massive letdown. Every button is greyed out, yet somehow still functional, which completely breaks standard UI expectations. The design is confusing, inefficient, and honestly feels unfinished – probably designed by "Mark Anthony". I haven’t even gotten to use the actual machine yet due to these roadblocks, so you can imagine what lies ahead – if you guessed "nothing but problems"... you'd be correct. If you're looking for a laser, go somewhere else, unless you like unecessary headaches and worthless customer service. ... show more

  • Powerful and works with Lightburn
Color: Falcon-A1 10W Gray
This is an interesting find, I wish I had bought this years ago instead of the ones I have purchased before. The camera is a little wonky but once you calibrate it, it's pretty accurate. I only used lightburn with this so I'm not sure why I would want to use anything else since all of my other lasers use lightburn as well. Read the instructions carefully and check out Google if you have any issues for fast problem fixes. This item don't come with a honeycomb bed and apparently it takes a special size if you want to use the full working area. I ordered the wrong size one but I was able to use that on another of my lasers. I'm excited to find projects to make with it when it's cooler outside. It does come with a pump to blow debris from the nozzle as it cuts and the pump hose plugs into the unit on the side so you could probably use any similar pump if this one ever dies. There is a key lock on this that I don't like because I know I'm either going to accidentally break the key or lose it and make this thing useless. It has to be unlocked to use it. Always check the red stop button.. It's easy to accidentally hit. I'm wired direct to my computer via the USB port and it worked great after I finally figured out what I was doing wrong... I only wanted to use lightburn and not the creality software. Hope it lasts me a long time and hope the plexiglass is really laser safe. I would buy again ... show more

  • Comes with everything you need to start some laser projects
Color: Falcon-A1 10W Gray
Have not used this too much yet, but so far it was a pretty easy set up and got it going after taking it out the box. Didn't read a lot of instructions and kind of just poked around and was able to figure it out on my own. I'm sure if I read more into it... I won't have to be doing so many test burns. The camera helps out alot! If the camera casts a shadow on your area, you can always pop the lid open and slide the laser out of the way. I read a review complaining about it and was worried about it, but it isn't that big of a deal. Make sure to set calibrate the camera though to make sure you are getting an accurate view of your entire cutting area! ... show more

The wife loves it. It was a great present. My only complaint is that even after calibration the camera really isn't that useful for exact placement of cutting area.

  • Perfect for carpenters with disabilities!
Color: Falcon-A1 10W White
I bought this for my dad, who was once a carpentry wizard. My dad's tool of choice was the scroll saw, but due to osteoarthritis and MS, he can no longer use it. This is a fantastic upgrade for him and he is having a blast with it. I spent a few months researching engravers/cutters, weighing out what would be easiest, and most bang for the budget. I stumbled on this one and at first I looked at it with a bit of bias because I 3D print using Creality printers and love them. I forced myself to set that aside and continued looking into pros and cons. Every pro was a big one; the enclosure for eye and respiratory safety, the fact that it comes with an air assist pump and I wouldn't have to buy one or use an air compressor, the vent hose, a camera inside so there's no measuring and guesswork involved, the user friendliness of the software, the size of the workspace, the accuracy and line width of the cuts. The only con I really found was that the honeycomb tray comes separate and if you're cutting wood without one, you'll see the burns on the back as well as it engraves your cutout design on the bottom of the machine (which is apparently a thing for all of these machines from any brand). Putting the machine together was literally as easy as plugging things in. One cool thing I should note is that if you're buying wood or any other material from Creality, it comes with a QR code on a business card, which the camera can immediately pick up and know what type of material you're working with and applies the perfect settings to the software. Just fantastic all around and my dad absolutely loves his new toy! Just one heads up, the cutter came with the safety shutoff engaged. You'll need to make sure it's not engaged so you don't have a freakout like I did thinking I got a cutter that wouldn't turn on for like 10min. 😅 ... show more

  • Camera issues on Creality Falcon A1
Color: Falcon-A1 10W Gray
The unit is very well built. I also liked the fact that it had its own design software. setting up the unit became a problem as the camera would not work. I went thru all the try this from their customer service to no avail. The software kept saying the camera is not plugged in. There isn't a lot of places to check for something unplugged without taking things apart. I didn't think that would be a good idea. I really hated to have to send this back but the camera issue was a no go. As far as the unit goes it's ( in my opinion ) it's one of the best built on the market, at this price point. ... show more
