Overall, a nice product once you get it to work, which is simply a download away. Go to Creality.com and find the download for Falcon Design Space software. In the software, this machine is a CR - Falcon 10w Laser. This allowed for a proper setup, and all of my initial issues and frustrations went away. The seller has been super communicative and really worked to make my sale great! The laser is awesome - Performance when finally set up is a 5-star event. To obtain this, you must have the enclosure (Makes the area smell like burnt wood during and for a while after cutting.) and the air supply fan to make excellent cuts. This model DOES NOT support the auto on-off from the control unit, which is a big miss, at least in my opinion. I bought the air supply unit to plug into the unit, but I guess it only supports the pro model, mine has no connection for this. Pros: Excellent performance once properly set up with Falcon Design Software Great value to workspace provided Does come with the required honeycomb bed and the Aluminum protection Sheet under the homeycomb bed. Seller is communicating well and customer satisfaction focused. Cons: Very difficult to determine software needed to run unit efficiently. Zero website support by model number. Get the Falcon Design Software. My wife, loves the fact she can design in her favorite software, and execute the file in FDS Not really useable without Enclosure (Can not perform cutting functions safely) Not really useable without Air Supply pump (Can not perform cutting functions safely) Air Supply and Enclosure Vent fans are NOT able to be turned on and off with the main unit. Overall - A very good choice with the needed extra enclosure and air supply. Very accurate cutting and engraving after a good setup is obtained. I will definitely be shopping at CReality when I am ready to upgrade!

I bought this laser engraver because it wasn't stupid expensive. I've been in CNC for a few years now, and I know to not expect a great product in a cheap CNC machine, so naturally I expected the same from a laser engraver. I was pleasantly surprised! For an inexpensive laser engraver, this machine works very well for everything I have asked of it so far. It has engraved and cut plywood up to 1/4", and engraved aluminum business cards and tags. The usable area is about 16" by maybe 17", and this has been plenty for me. I usually use 12" square stock and this machine has no problem with that. The honeycomb panel is well built, but be careful because mine is not square. I had to pick a corner and cut a piece of basswood to perfectly fit it, then cut the basswood for the perimeter of the laser working area in order to get a square reference corner. Not a big deal. I used the machine to do the cutting. I built an enclosure based on the one Vintauri Woodworks made for his Ortur machine, with some adjustments for this machine's differences. I also picked up the Creality air assist pump, which works great for clean cuts on about half power. I'll just say, I was so impressed by the quality of this machine, I turned to Creality when it came time for a 3D printer. I bought the K2 SE, and have been just as happy with that as I have been with the CR Falcon 10W laser engraver.

I knew this was a basic unit when I bought it, but it has served the purpose I had hoped for. I wanted to dabble in the laser engraver world without investing a lot of money. I have two other Creality machines for 3D printing and this also made it easy to select this machine. So far, I am pleased with its abilities. I don't have a lot of the bells and whistles that would be nice, but I've been able to complete a few projects well. I've already begun to add some features with the purchase of the vented enclosure. The smoke generated is considerable and pungent. I will update my review as I dabble into this art and experiment with new designs and techniques.

Came almost fully assembled (had to attach laser with 2 thumb screws). Excellent packaging. Downloaded the software and up and running in 20 minutes. I'm an old man and can't even spell engr...enge...engraver. First time ever trying to use one.
