Math-U-See manipulatives came in a box with dividers but it was too big and clunky and kept opening when moved and spilling all the contents. We needed something more reliable, portable, and easier to store in a cubby or cube. Finally we found the Perfect Fit! Creahaus 13 inch Art Craft Organizer Storage Box with 3 Layers not only holds ALL the manipulatives and easily separated from each other, but it also fit the decimal street poster AND had a space for flashcards or numbers. Here is how I fit everything inside: 1. base has two equal stacks of 100s side by side, plus all the tens next to them. I think 1-2 tens go in front and slide back and forth along the length but its fine and easily separated. Lay the folded up decimal street poster on top. 2. top tray has the 9's in the back narrow compartment two stacked on top of each other... which leaves a small place on the other end for all the 1's. In the bigger front compartment, i put all the 8's, 7's, 6's, and 5's lined up next to each other again two stacked on top of each other. I think I had to put 1-2 5's in the front of the compartment and they could slid down and back a bit, but again easily separated. 3. The middle tray has three compartments on the left for 2's, 3's, and 4's blocks. The larger square compartment on the right can be used for flashcards or to hold wooden/plastic numbers. If its an older child, you can also put fraction circle manipulates here. If its a child learning subtraction, you could put some snap blocks here as I find them more useful for showing subtraction. Overall, I love the space and the perfect fit for manipulatives. I would however be gentle on the latch and hinges so the tackle box lasts. I also would not want it dropped on hard surfaces like tile or cement. I think it should be fine in a carpeted room where it sits on a table to be used and then put away. If used in this manner, the storage box will probably outlast the kids need/use of the manipulatives inside.

Perfect for organizing smaller items such as craft supplies, beads, sewing kit, jewelry making supplies, fishing etc… It’s also just the right size to use as a small tool box for a college dorm room or an apartment. I purchased mine for my sewing supplies and it’s perfect. I’ll be purchasing another to organize and store my cake decorating piping tips, pastry bags and other supplies. Definitely recommend.

I have bought several different boxes to organize my nail polishes, files, nippers, nail glue, etc. I had bee disappointed with everything that I had tried. Then I thought; the very thing I need is like a tool box. Well, off I went, and after being very disappointed at the second one I had bought because of. The flimsiness, and unreliable latch, I kept reading reviews. Oh yes, I do my research. After having given up my great idea about a tool-box-type holder, I read about this one. It promised to be sturdier than the others I’d dealt with, and since i felt this was an ideal way to store my nail supplies, I said “I’m buying this, and if it doesn’t meet my standard, I’ll give it up!” Boy, am I glad I persevered! This little tool box is a gem!!! It is much sturdier than any of the others I’d tried so hard to make work, and the latch works great, not to mention that I could even get it in PINK!!! I love my purchase, and and now have what I’ve been earnestly looking for to hold my nail supplies. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
