I was looking for, and think I found, a laptop/camera bag for air travel. I will use the bag as a "personal item" on Southwest Airlines. Their requirements are 6.25" x 13.5" x 8". And it must take my 14" Lenovo laptop plus three or four lenses. This one fits my laptop easily. In the main compartment there is room for a Canon 80D with mounted Sigma 100-400, a Canon 15-85EFs, and a Rokinon fisheye. I can add a charger for the laptop and another for the camera batteries. Nothing longer than the Sigma 100-400 will fit, however. There is room in the front pocket for such items as SD cards or a passport. The bag is 16 inches long only if I don't try to stuff too much into the upper compartment. I am not too thrilled about the magnetic attachment for the bag strap. But the bag has zippers that can be locked to protect the camera gear and front compartment. I ordered the brown bag, as it doesn't look like a camera bag. ... show more

Used this back pack to carry my little D3100 around and take pictures. worked nice with the 2 extra lenses I had, and accessories. Also has a little baggage area for me to throw in a single change of clothes (maybe thin athletic wear shorts & tshirt) or snacks depending on what I am doing. So far everythign has been holding up without any damage or harsh wear. Treat the bag well and it had no issues with amonth trip to thailand. The only two things I found annoying is the draw string kept getting caught on stuff, so I had to tie a knot everytime I closed the bag, and the other was the magnet clip kept coming undone if I had stuff in the pouch department. This backpack was made for a 15inch laptop, we know that. I stuffed my 16inch MacBook Pro, AND, my iPad Pro in the laptop compartment. I’ve had this backpack for almost a year. So yeah it’s been really good to me. I love being able to carry around everything I need. I’m not sure if I’ll get the same one as a replacement yet though. I have used a few different camera bags and one backpack. This one is my favorite. It is very roomy and easy to access equipment from the zippered front. I brought my iPad and it was secure and easily accessible on the back side of the backpack. Reasonable price made this a great choice.
