I bought these for a blacklight party & had my friends sign the concrete floor of my unfinished basement, doodle & what not. They loved them! They're so fun. They're easy to hold & easy to clean up after with a bit of water. Decently sized. If you're heavy handed or drop them enough, they will break, but in general, I think that's true for most chalk. There were some delays with the product, and price seemed to fluctuate daily (when looking to just purchase again, instead of waiting for the replacement). Since I managed to snag this at a lower price, it was definitely a good value for the money. Had I purchased at the higher price, I would not have been too happy. It’s chalk. It’s Crayola chalk. I really love this chalk they are very bright and easy to grip. A lot of chalk I've tried in the past are dull, break, and are hard to draw with. My kids LOVE drawing on the sidewalk with these! They are rectangular in shape so that they are easier to grip and don't roll. It's such a great summer activity to be able to sit back and watch them drawing and enjoying these chalks. I also love how washable they are. They almost completely disappeared after one rain. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because for about double the price, you can get a 48 pack same brand (just not neon). That's quite a big difference in price for simply the novelty of having a neon variant, about $1 a chalk vs. about $.20 a chalk. However, I chose this 5 pack because I honestly didn't want the headache of having 48 pieces of chalk to hunt down and put back away. Box looked alittle scruffy, like used, but still in tack. Gave as gift so that is the only reason I cared about the outside look. Still I LOVE the bright neon colors and I know my nephew will have hours of fun with this chalk. Good value for the money.

This was my first time coming across this glitter chalk from Crayola. I was a bit skeptical that the glitter wouldn't show up very well if at all, but it was a decent price so I figured I'd let my daughter try it out. I was VERY impressed with the amount of glitter the chalk leaves with each stroke! My daughter loved how pretty her drawings turned out and the fact that it sparkled in the sun. Arrived 2 pieces broke in half blue/green chalk....I didn't expect a lot of glitter but it does shimmer in the sun so we could see it, bits and pieces of sparkle glitter off the sun. Not bad at all just the broke pieces...easy to use and not a lot of dust.
