Excellent miter saw. Plenty of power to go through a 2 x 6. I have made more than 50 cuts thru 2 x 4s and 2 x 6s and still have sufficient battery power to do even more. This definitely is not a commercial product. But should handle any home project with ease. Just remember that it is only a 7 1/4 inch blade and if you want to cut anything larger than a 2 x 8, you need to get a saw with a 10 inch or 12 inch blade. I would definitely buy this again.

When I was preparing to move to another state, I sold my fairly new 12” Dewalt miter saw as I couldn’t justify the size & weight for the DIY home projects I get involved in. Now in our new home and needing to build some utility shelving in the garage and a small face frame cabinet for a guest bedroom, I searched what was available for around $200 or less and settled on this one. I’ve already finished the shelving project and really was pleased with how it performed. Light weight, compact size, plenty of power, and a respected brand with customer support. What more could you want?

Great saw. Plenty of power and will cut through a 2x6 no problem. Used it to build a small deck at my off grid cabin and laminate flooring in the bathroom. I also use mine with the knock-off batteries. it works just as good for about half the price. Only advise I have is, use at least a 6mh battery and keep a sharp blade.

Over all great for around the house projects and good power on the cutting, although I have not done a ton of 2x4's smaller wood a breeze. The dust collector does not do much, expect some dust on your work table. The only adjustment I would have is to Lighten the overall weight to move to different locations easier and a clamp to the table would be nice. Overall would buy again.

So far, I really like this saw. Even with the battery, it is much lighter than my plug-in saw. Great for 2x4s, 2x6s, deck boards and the like. Some of the good points - quieter than expected (as far as gear noise), battery life is very good (advertised number of cuts seems realistic), aiming light is quite useful, depth-of-cut adjustment worked great, and it's a good value compared to similar saws ($). No real 'bad' points, but the dust collector bag was not very effective. Overall - I would recommend this handy little saw.

Im a professional handyman. This little saw is amazing! What it is not: a 15 amp 110v plug in miter saw. What it is: the most handy miter saw ive ever used. It cuts super well, lasts as long as your workday. If you are good about keeping your battery charged, you wont need another battery. Its compact, and as such you cannot expect it to cut huge pieces of lumber. If you are working with 2x4 1×4 2x6 which is about 95% of what you need a miter saw for, it works wonders. Cut a little slower, remember its a battery tool. It goes upstairs easy, moves easy, stores easy, slides easy, adjusts easy, makes jobs easy. Take it to the lumber instead of taking your lumber to your saw! No cord, no worries. Make sure your fence is square with the blade before cutting. Blade is holding up well so far. I just love it and am glad to add this craftsman tool to my bag of tricks. Its my wood shop on the job right now. I hope it lasts forever.
