  • Lowes does not deserve the Craftsman tool line!
It continues to be next to impossible to deal with Lowes, who bought Craftsman, so it looks like other companies will now get the Craftsman's customers. Lowes is or has wasted an incredible opportunity.

  • OEM fit
These were the true OEM product, rather than the cheap knock-offs. Most of the non-OEM say they are the same, but do not last very long. These are the true originals, and based upon past experience, should give me a few years of service.

  • Deceptive pictures. Make sure the model numbers matches your drill
I was replacing 2 craftsmen 19.2 lithium ion batteries from 2015. I searched for the original part no. 315.PP2011 and these replacement batteries were the first option on Amazon. The picture of the batteries on the box look exactly like the batteries I needed to replace, so I ordered them. When they arrived, the box still showed the same batteries, yet the batteries inside the box were completely different. The actual batteries inside had a sticker on them that says C3, not pictured on the box. I put them on my 19.2 volt charger and they would not charge. After some research I found that you also need to upgrade to the 19.2 C3 style charger. So don’t be fooled by the picture on the box because the batteries inside are not the same as what’s pictured. I should also mention that the box had been pre-opened, the batteries were dirty and scratched as if already used and re-boxed and re-sold to me. ... show more

  • Great Upgrade to My Old 19.2V NiCad Batteris
I had an old charger for my Craftsman 19.2V NiCad batteries that no longer worked. So, I bought a charger and these two new lithium 19.2v batteries. They fit and work well on my old Craftsman power tools. On a side note, after I bought a new charger and these new batteries for about $110-115, I went to Sears to exchange a couple of broken Craftsman hand tools. While there, I saw that I could have bought a new drill, with a new charger and two lithium batteries on sale for $115.00. So, if you are thinking about upgrading to a new charger and batteries, I would go by Sears first to see if they have any of their power tools on sale w/the new charger and batteries in the package. You may be able to get your new batteries and charger for the same price w/a a new drill. I gave the item 4 stars because of the price and being able to essentially get it cheaper as Sears w/the new charger and drill. ... show more

  • These are the real deal, not a knock-off
I have had the same craftsman cordless tools since 2001 and these work great with them. Always remember to match the model of rechargeable battery with the cordless tool you intend to use. Stupid customers do not do this and then complain the product is bad when is does not work!

  • Absolute must if you need to upgrade/replace old NiCD batteries
Ordered these to replace/upgrade some older NiCD batteries I had for a Craftsman tool set I have had for at least 10 years now. I was originally concerned because they were lithium-ion vs. the NiCD, but they worked great from the first time I put them in and even give a little more power right to the end. The only issue I noted was since they are a little slimmer then the old batteries, on the lamp they do not line up flush, other then that wish I would have made the switch earlier. Honestly though, if that is my biggest complaint for spending ~$80 as compared to buying a entirely new set of tools I can live with that. Don't get me wrong I would love a new set of tools, but $80 is way easier to explain to the wife. ... show more

  • These are legit
I had six of these nabbed from me during an RV break-in (purchased at Sears). These are boxed just as they would be in Sears. They perform just as my originals. I shine them daily. Of all the cordeless tools I have and/or currently own, the 19.2 series is perhaps my favorite bc of it's light weight, performance, and durability (I've abused these relative to my more expensive Dewalt and Rigid sets). If anyone is still using the CD-LI battery for the 19.2, now is the time to upgrade to lithium. Your wrists will thank you. ... show more
