I’ve got a large shop that is detached from the house. My significant other was always having to head to the shop and grab a socket or whatever. This was the perfect purchase (on sale) for a set to have around the house. It works just fine and a great value at the sale price. I understand that today’s Craftsman tools are NOT the same caliber or quality that were manufactured in the USA prior to the sell off by Sears. But, if you need a reasonably priced set that is still covered by Lowe’s for replacement, this fits the bill perfectly. Ratchets are smooth and have a good handle, sockets seem fine for light/medium duty around the house. I gave them 4 stars just due to fact they are made in China. ... show more

This set was just what this Grandma needed to repair a few things around the house. I have 4 children and my tools disappear. This set is in the house in its wonderful case (they don't know I bought this!). It has every rachet or socket I could possibly need with the extensions. It is nice to know that all my other sockets and rachets may disappear and I won't miss them. Craftsman is a wonderful brand that stands by their tools.
