Purchased for $42.99+ tax and arrived within 2 days with everything needed to start a project, I bought earring die cuts separately. It was relatively easy to use die cuts, however, the embossing sheets included were a little too thick and roller wouldn't catch so was unable to crank thru, however, I was able to insert from opposite end where paper started until I reached embossing sheet. After a few uses, the plate started to bend up to an inch on both ends making it difficult to hold plates in place and crank handle. I love the convenient size with dual storage as it would be convenient for travel, the detailed cutout even for the small earring hole hence the reason I gave it an additional star, however, it's not gonna be worth the price if I have to replace plates after every use. More than likely will return item but will give update if it's replaced in case this particular machine is defective. Very disappointed as I really loved the size and was perfect for what I wanted to use it for. Edit: I did increase the rating of this item because the seller contacted me immediately after my review and sent me new, clear plates that worked better than the plates sent with original order. The plates worked well with 2 sheets of stockpaper, however, didn't cut same sheets that were laminated. Seller did immediately offer a discount but machine doesn't meet my current needs as I'm working strictly with laminated paper. I would still recommend for metal dies and regular stockpaper but check recommended thickness before purchasing. ... show more
