I love that it's a scalloped circle which makes cut outs look much fancier. The size is perfect & it's very easy to use. I'm also super surprised at how easily it cuts through thicker cardstock. Most others I've gotten have had issues with that. Of course usually you get what you pay for & I'm learning that you just can't skimp on some things. This was priced nicely for the quality of it. I like how simple it is to get it placed exactly where you want it due to the see through bottom that slides out for easy removal of paper. I would highly recommend this round scalloped hole punch.

this 3" punch is heavy (slightly over 1 lb) and has a comical look; packaged it resembles a gigantic version of mini lever puncher and sitting on my desk, the punch resembles an iron. before purchasing, i asked the chat bot where this was manufactured and it wasn't able to provide that information. if anyone else is interested: craftelier is a spanish brand and i'm assuming that the punch was manufactured in spain. there's nothing printed on the punch or packaging to verify. for maximum efficiency, paper can be aligned by flipping the punch over to adjust. after being punched, the scallop remains at the bottom and is held in place by a plastic drawer. due to the lack of barrier between the metal punch and the paper, i wouldn't let too many accumulate before emptying. it was able to cut through (3) sheets of colored copy paper at once and (1) sheet of card stock (65 lbs/176 GSM). the only negatives worth mentioning: the scallop ISN'T 3" in diameter, it's ~72 mm (~2.83" and that's being generous) - that was disappointing. i had wanted to make labels that completely covered a 3" lid. also, the lever's not so easy to press down; the odds of breaking it have increased. hoping this won't be the case!
