This project was fun and challenging. A few items did not seem to be thought through when designed (lighting mostly) but can be reworked if desired (and I did) but overall materials, instructions, finished product were excellent. I recommend using a paintbrush to apply elmers glue where you want sand to be and blowing off excess. I blew onto paper so I could scoop up and reapply as needed until satisfied. Using very small spoon was helpful.. I used 1/8 tsp measuring spoon. And I kept broken shell fragments to scatter on beach with whole shells, more realistic that way. Happy crafting!!

Great kit - one of my favorites so far. Lots of nautical details. Takes time and patience for it to turn out well. Only one tiny piece missing and I ad-libbed so turned out well. I am very pleased with the finished piece.

Cute and fun build but was super disappointed to find out that the lights wouldn’t work. Something is wrong with the battery box… does anyone know where or if these can be purchased separately?

Just as described. It comes with both English and chinese instruction. You only need to buy really good glue since it basically pieces of wood chips and fabrics to build little furnitures. Definatly not for kids under 10 y/o. Great to spend extra time.
