  • First impressions: Heavy and baggy
First impressions. Imma going to to give this four stars for now. They just came in. The pants are A LOT heavier than I was expecting. I have some rip stop hiking pants from Columbia that are significantly lighter. They are also really baggy I’m that leg. I understand that they need to provide movement, but in my opinion the room in the legs top to bottom is too much. Like many of the reviews said I ordered larger - a 34 waist. I’m typically a 33 or 32. The waist fits great. It’s just the legs are so baggy at the weight is a bit much. I bought these as work pants. I walk 10-15 miles a day and do a lot of bending, kneeling and carrying. I’ll update once I’ve been able to work with in them for a while. ... show more

  • Lightweight work pants
My husband loves these. Hes on his second pair, bc they are the only pants he wears while working during the summer. Hes a General Contractor, so regular jeans can get too hot & arent flexible enough when you're sweating your butt off & all sticky, but still wamt bug protection. I wouldnt reccomend for walking through the woods or anything where they can snag & rip, since they're lightweight they do tear more easily than a pair of carpenter jeans. Overall they're nice lightweight pants that keep you cooler & have all the pockets you need. ... show more

  • 32-32 is NOT a 32-32 - the sizing is inaccurate + baggy
I was excited for these pants but when I tried them on, they were not 32-32 in American sizing, as advertised. They're loose around the waste for a 32 and 2 inches too long. They're also baggy. I was expecting tactical pants, not sit on the couch, eat chips, and waste time pants. These are not as advertised, in my opinion. ... show more

  • Decent pants
I work in home restoration and I’ve had 5 pairs for about 6 months now. They have been pretty great. I do actually prefer my 511 pants over the CQR but I do enjoy the CQR pants. They are lighter than the 511, a bit cheaper feeling but I haven’t had any rips or tears. The only downfall for sure is that literally both of the d loops on the front of every single pair has fallen off which is kind of annoying. Other than that, I’d say they are pretty darn nice. ... show more

  • Very low waist
My husband got these for hiking. Loved the material and the overall fit. However, the waist is very low, like hip huggers. Everytime he lifted his knee, they would instantly slide down his butt (and he has a small butt!) Just not enough fabric to cover. If you're just a model and don't need to use your joints, these would fit the bill.. or I suppose if your goal in life is to always look like a plumber, they'd work for that, too. ... show more

  • Consistent quality.
Very comfortable and sturdy. This is my 5 pair (all the others still going strong) well designed and rugged. If there was one thing I had to say negative is that they are a little noisy. Anyone that's worked in any tactical situation knows exactly what I mean. Now I'm not saying loud. Just a bit noisy and sense I'm no longer in those situations I can feel comfortable giving these 5 stars. ... show more

  • Must have for people consistently on the go.
These pants are GREAT! The additional pockets are always there when you need them. Big and versatile, yet nothing gets lost. I ride a motorcycle and they are comfortable enough for long rides or repeated short trips around town. Never worry about anything tearing or things falling out of my pockets. The seams are well sewn and after 2 years of wearing them, I've yet to have one pull on me. Wash after wash, they seem to hold their color well too. If you like the tactile, military look (I'm personally a big fan) and want quality that will last for years, look no further. ... show more

  • Not quite as good as it use to be.
So I work in EMS, and I bought these pants to interchange from my 5.11’s and when I ordered the, last year they were perfect and I loved them even though they didn’t have the secondary pockets in the main cargo pockets, however this time I’m actually quite disappointed in them, they seem bigger, and the longer then they should be as I ordered the same exact size and everything, the absolute front pockets are entirely too long, and everything just seems wrong compared to the other pair I have. Maybe if you order it go a size smaller the. You normally would, but honestly other then those complaints they aren’t horrible pants. I just wish they were actually identical when you “order again” ... show more
