Did have a very good 3rd order experience. 1st OrderReview: Awesome lightweight, flex ripstop, quick dry, water & stain resistant, all weather ready and breathable, rugged cargo hiking/outdoor/tactical pants. Hook and loop closures for decent sized cargo pockets and rear pockets, Check, they're always on my list of preferences, along with a reliable ykk zipper. I put these pants to the test hiking and working in landscaping in the humid heat, comfortable and tough. Great value for the very reasonable price in comparison to other awesome brands like LAPG & 511, actively wear pants from these stellar brands, and now see that CQR is in that same level of quality, build & design, comfort, and outright ruggedness. And in the lightweight category with all the amazing features, can say CQR's Marauder Captain stands above the rest. 2nd ordering experience placed 7/25... 7/26 notification: Amazon changed delivery fromThursday 7/31 to Sunday 7/27, cool, I'm okay with that. 7/27 notification: Arrived hometown USPS early Sun morning, about 4:30 pm, USPS changes to "customer changed to pickup" and will be notified by email when ready for pickup. I Did Not Change the Delivery to Pickup, the USPS did. 7/28 Mid-morning: Monday contacted Amazon CS actual person was excellent, I wanted a refund, said he started process of 2-5 business days. In afternoon delivery notification: delivered to mailbox, hmm... I retrieve and look at pants the next day ... No tags/silica bags raises an eyebrow. Wow, Worn, Stained, & Dirty, with Cat Hair. Scattered red stains, blood? "Mysterious" white stains at inner zipper/button area. Scattered white stains. Places where someone tried rubbing out red and white stains. Worn appearance, several day's worth, back of leg/rear worn with creasing, knees stretched and worn from someone being on knees, worn out appearance overall. Cat Hair scattered throughout. See photos. Shade of pants varies in photos, one pair in soil green. Was unacceptable. Paid full price for new pants, not for someone's Dirty Laundry. So, great first experience, one with some drama, a third that was great again. Received a full refund for second dirty order. And yea, because it was being taken care of in a timely manner, and these are incredibly rugged pants and lightweight, with flex ripstop, water and stain resistant, super fast drying, and very comfortable, back up to 5 stars. Put to the test, these pants are outstanding. 3rd order with free shipping arrived in 4 days including weekend, properly packaged brand new Marauder in Green Kelp 32x32. These are my favorite pants and only such pants I've found with these features that also has cargo and rear pockets with hook and loop closures. Great colors to choose from, love the Cougar and Green Kelp options.. Cougar was a slight bit darker than in photos, and Green Kelp a slight bit lighter, I'm good with that. Plan to order more and yea, highly recommending these pants, tough and very comfortable.

Have rated them before. My favorite pants. In fact all my pants are CQR. Summer pants that breathe well an dry out fast to heavier weight for cooler weather. Mostly buy for cargo pockets and extra pockets and for odds and ends. Size was perfect . Good value.

I have reordered these pants several times. Light weight, great fit. Many pockets. They used to come with a key clip near the belt loops but the last pair I ordered did not have that. Many colors to choose from.

More like 4.5 or 4.8 stars My husband is a big man! 5’11” and 330 lbs. he does industrial/commercial concrete for a living and even as a superintendent, he does a lot of moving around, helps finish, bending, pulling, etc. He has ripped many, many pairs of Carhartt jeans. Doesn’t matter if he gets them bigger or smaller, they rip in the crotch along the seam. I bought a pair of these on a whim as we were shopping around for alternatives and I went back and bought three more. Pros: so let’s start with the good. - He normally wears a 44 in Carhartt. His thighs are big and he has a booty so he has to go up a little in waist for them to fit. These he was able to get a 42 and no issue with the mm fitting all around. - They are a little tighter around the leg opening than regular jeans, as if they are tapered. He counts this as a plus. Part of the issue are the jeans getting stuck under his work boots or constantly adjusting them but with a slight taper, they stay above his sole. - He’s had these for a while now with many wears and washes and no shrinkage but I also dry everything on low heat so that could be why. - For the price of these vs Carhartt or Levi’s or something else, worth it! They are stretchy and when they say tactical, they mean tactical. The price is spot on for what we got. Cons: ok the not so good and why I couldn’t do 5 stars - Others mentioned this but the pockets, especially the front ones, are in an odd spot. He doesn’t keep anything in those front pockets but they are really more toward the front and not along the side seem or in a normal position compared to regular jeans. If you keep things in that front pocket, this probably won’t be comfy for you. - Random pockets and the placement of some of them make no sense. It’s like they added the pockets just to add the pockets. Some of them are in odd spots and if you put something in them, it causes you to not use the other one. Just weird places. Overall a great pant. We will probably only buy tactical type pants from now on.

Best cargo pants ever! My husband loves them so much we bought 3 pairs! The marketing makes it look like you need to be a hunter or military guy to like these pants. Absolutely not. Great alternative to Dockers…amazing quality -and a great value. They are his new everyday and travel pants!

I’ve been wearing these for a few weeks now, and I have to say—I’m thoroughly impressed. From the first wear, they felt incredibly comfortable—like they were custom-made just for me. The fit is spot-on—not too tight, not too loose, and it moves with you rather than against you, which was a breath of fresh air compared to other pairs I’ve tried. But comfort only goes so far—and that's where these really shine: they’re durable. I’ve put them through a variety of situations—from long walks and weekend hikes to day-to-day errands—and they’ve held up beautifully. No signs of stretching out, fabric thinning, or fraying seams so far (fingers crossed it stays that way!).

These pants are great. They’re comfortable, flexible, and don’t bunch up. Compared to big name brands such as 5.11, they are better in every way. The thigh pockets are large enough to comfortably fit a pair of handcuffs(size reference). The waistband is very flexible, and doesn’t bunch up or squeeze too tight but still forms very well to your waist. They’re very lightweight but doesn’t take away from the quality, the zipper is well made, and they wash very well. They breath well so you’re not sweating badly.
