This little alarm kit is so well-thought out (except for one little bit) - it's perfect for use with just the 4 sensors, but also expandable to include an entire array of devices. I really appreciate that a) I don't have to be tied into a subscription to use, and b) that I don't have to use the big name companies that collect too much data. Even when setting up the app, it asks if it can collect data, and you can opt-out without pressure and no add'l prompts! The kit itself is well planned - they include not just 4 sticky strips for each sensor, but 8, so double what you actually need - just in case! It's really well packed - after ordering online for the past two years, I'm half expecting things to just be thrown in the box and then not work (this happened with a 1.7k laptop..!) - but this package was REALLY well packaged. The instructions were super clear - VERY easy to setup step by step - the app was simple. The alarm itself is loud for indoor use, but I couldn't hear it with two doors closed through the hallway and in the kitchen - so the external siren is probably good to setup for longer ranges. The siren cord isn't very long, I wish it could be wireless too so I could set up in another room - but the good thing is I can pair another alarm set to the same system and have a few hubs around the house. What I really appreciated about the hub is it still works if the power goes out for 2 more hours! Not common in these mid/lower-range systems. The sensors are big and have a light - they're obvious, which is a good deterent. There's a little switch in the back, which I find neat - so you can turn it off to conserve battery - BUT the battery is soldered to the motherboard, so it's not replaceable. That's the only disappointment. I cant imagine the sensors draining a lot of battery juice, but maybe in 2-3 years? maybe less? they might run out. I'm curious what solution the company has for that, when they do run out - if they send replacements, or have to buy new ones? But for at least 1-2 years I know I'm covered - and that works for my needs right now - especially at this price point. Honestly, I really love this kit - it feels solid and super glad it's expandable to include more devices, and there's no subscription. It's not often I find companies I like, but once I do, I stick with them. Will probably try the camera setup too with this hub. Oh - it also comes with two remotes, so I don't always have to rely on the app, which, at least on my old phone, can be a bit laggy. The app is super customizable too - this really is perfect for me because I like having things setup very specifically, so I like the full control over my system. ... show more

The Tuya app setup was easy. There are many options for the alarm in the software. The door sensor battery is replaceable. Remove the tiny screw. Remove the board and slide the battery from underneath its holder. I setup the alarm to automatically arm at bedtime and disarm in the morning. I would definitely purchase it again. ... show more

    • Phone call notification features does not work.

I dont receive the phone call alarm from when the alarm gets triggered it used to work but it doesn't any more. I bought the phone call package twice. Customer service is not existing just a chat bot that doesn't give you an email or phone number to call even if you ask for it, like i said no customer service at all i also sent their supposed in app feedback to have my problem solved and its been 5 days and nothing has been done no one has contacted me and it's still on the "to be processed" stage. This is garbage as well as the app and their non existing customer service. Phone call alarms is the only reason i bought this trash and it doesn't even do that anymore. Save yourself the headache and get something from another brand because this is definitely trash. I want my money back. ... show more

I will start with all the positives we bought this to replace our very outdated ADT system. We really love it, It is very cost effective, space effective(tiny box)super easy to install, very loud if engaged and overall very easy to use and there is no monthly subscription to use it. There is an app so you can arm and disarm and it comes with key fobs for on the go. One of the only negatives I've seen with it is we have not been able to get ours to integrate with Alexa at all and the instructions are vague on that. Also It only comes with 4 door/window censors total and I just saw that they released individual censors but don't offer a package of them at least not yet(if they do I will update) and just buying a 2-3 censors is as expensive as buying the whole system which is a bit ridiculous. This was definitely an upgrade. Wireless and very easy to install. Works as expected. The feature I like best is that you can schedule the system to arm and disarm at a preset time everyday. I also like that you can control the system remotely using phone app from anywhere over the Internet. The front door and door to garage worked perfectly. The patio door gave me a hard time because it was a metal door, which apparently interferes with the RF signal. I contacted customer service. Alison responded promptly and they provided excellent guidance and support. Every online merchant needs an Alison :) I was finally able to get it to work by making a couple of changes: I switched the sensor to the stationary unit (door frame), and the magnet to the mobile unit (door). I also installed the unit at the top of the door, so that when I slide open the door, the magnet slices away horizontally from the sensor, instead of pulling apart. One of these two changes did the trick and it now works on the metal door! ... show more

I love the product. The camera I purchased is no longer available it seems, too bad because I would like to buy a few more of them. I love the security features of the door and window sensors and do love how loud the system is when triggered. I control everything from the smart life app.
