These were a surprise for a 10-year old girl who LOVES unicorns. I didn't show her what they looked like, just put them on her head after making her close her eyes. She said, 'Oooh...ear warmers!' Then I plugged them in to her iPad and started she music and she got so excited! 'Wow, headphones too!' She still hadn't seem them, so I took her photo (she was wearing unicorn hooded pajamas) and showed her - and her squeal nearly broke my eardrums!     • Great idea, good execution, but falls short of being a "this is IT" product.

I thought these would solve the issue of kids + headphones and for the most part, they do. But they're only good for some situations - like quiet areas, and for kids over 6 (or younger kids with larger heads). Problem is, my kids only use/need headphones while traveling. My take after purchasing two for my kids (aged 4 and 6): Pros: - Kids can put them on themselves - Volume limited - Long cord so movement isn't restricted - Soft and cozy, very comfortable to wear - OMG so cute Cons: - Product pics show small kids, but this is still just a bit too large as they weren't really securely snug on a six-year-old and I had to roll the band a bit to make a tighter fit. - The speakers are located pretty far back in the band, so they actually rest behind the ears, not on them - Between location of the speakers in the band, and the volume-limiting, I wouldn't really recommend them for flights. The ambient noise on an airplane was overpowering and the kids took them off - it was too faint to hear anything so they found it annoying and chose to play iPad games without sound. So, these will do for now and I'll continue to pack them for travel, but I haven't stopped looking for the perfect solution. ... show more

Bought this for my 4 year old and she absolutely loves it. Sound quality is really good, they don't seem to limit volume as I expected they would, just in case she accidently turned the volume all the way up (pretty loud with the volume maxed on her tablet) but she knows to keep the volume out of the "red" so it works out. They are very comfortable my daughter says, easy to put on and I haven't had any complaints regarding the speakers moving inside the headband as other people mentioned. They seem to stay in place once I adjusted it. I can't give the durability a rating yet as we haven't had them longer then a day at this point, but the cord seems very thick and flexible which I'm hoping will stop the wires from breaking in the long run. Wow I cannot say enough how awesome these are! I purchased the unicorn ones for my 4 year old and 1 year old as we travel quite a bit. They are not only super cute but super comfortable. Both were so excited to open them as they were a surprise. My 4 year old loves to wear them at home too. They are easily adjustable and they are loud enough for an airplane yet quiet enough to where I cannot hear them when they have them on. One thing I will say is that every time you put them on you most likely will have to adjust them but it’s not a big deal and takes no time at all. We just put these on for the first time but they're the first headphones she hasn't complained about wearing. We're only in the first hour so if anything changes I'll update. Messy hair don't care! Edit -- She said the head band gets hot since it's a fleecy material. Not hot from the headphones, just hot because of the material. These are awesome. My daughter likes to listen to music to fall asleep and regular headphones are uncomfortable. We bought these for her and they are perfect. The speakers inside the headband are flexable so they don’t hurt your head if you are laying on your side. I bought these headphones for my daughters (ages 2 & 5) and they LOVE them. One of my girls wears hearing aids and these seem to fit comfortably over the hearing aids and do not cause feedback like other headphone options. I like that the speaker pieces can be moved to create a custom fit for anyone wearing them. The fleece is soft and stretchy, and best of all, washable.
