I was honestly a little concerned about the size of the package, but it was vacuum sealed, so once I popped it open, it expanded. I also put it on a low tumble dry to speed up its full expansion potential. Comfortable, and worth the purchase.

I've been using a memory foam mattress for quite some time, since the time I started sleeping in it, I've noticed some issues. 1. My sleep quality is terrible. Even if I'm tired I'll fall asleep, sleep for only three or four hours, then wake up. 2. Falling asleep was so difficult I started taking sleeping pills for the first time in my life. 3. I wake up extremely tired. 4. I'd wake up with back or neck pain. I chalked all of these up to some kind of depression or aging, a coincidence. I only started to realize it was possibly related to my mattress (even though it didn't feel uncomfortable laying on it) because the symptoms disappeared when I slept elsewhere. Elsewhere I'd have a much easier time falling asleep, a deeper sleep, and wake up with no alarm clock at the proper time. I decided to experiment by buying a mattress topper, I bought this one because it looked thick. I did have to toss it into a drier to get it to expand (which it did), it fit my memory foam mattress perfectly and ever since I started using it my sleep problems went away. I don't know how long it will last before it eventually goes flat or develops a set, I've been using it for a few weeks now, if it does I guess you'll have to toss it into the drier again, but so far it was well worth the money.

I was able to fluff up the fill by following the directions. Unfortunately, when I laid on top for the night, it all squashed down and didn't make any difference in the comfort of my mattress. Am returning today since it does not live up to the product description.

I worked with this mattress pad to try and get it to feel like I'd hoped it would. I took it out of its packaging and let it fluff up for over an hour because the recommended time with these things is never accurate. However, Letting it fluff up, putting it in the dryer, and shaking it out didn't even fluff this as I'd hoped. I also don't care for the fact that it slides and had to be readjusted, I wish they had added grips to it to help it stay in place.

The quality of it is nice. It holds into place, and it made my (rock hard) bed a lot more softer than what it was. I wish it was thicker. It is perhaps around 2 1/2 inches thick.
