  • Happy with this Snorkeling Gear
Color: DeepBlack Size: Mask L - Fins M
Used these on a trip to Belize and was very happy with the full face snorkel mask and fins. Fins were easy to adjust and fit my size 11.5 feet well. The mask was just big enough for me and gave me a good view, easy breathing, and was easy to slide up on my head for a break and back into position for more snorkeling. The gear seamed reasonably durable for occasional use. Didn't find deeper diving to be that difficult and all the snorkel valves worked exceptionally. I stayed vigilant about any signs of dizziness or fatigue from recirculated respiration and didn't sense any. I've only snorkeled a couple of times and really like this setup compared to using a separate snorkel and mask, but with my limited experience, that's not saying much. ... show more

  • My best snorkel gear
Color: Black Size: Mask L - Fins L
It was my best snorkel gear experience. Note that I'm not a professional, nor do I play one (or anything else) on TV. I snorkel about every couple of years, but try to pack as much into those efforts as possible. Anyway, I totally recommend the Cozia set with one comment and one reservation. First the good stuff - Vision is great. There is distortion around the fold in the mask, but the side windows worked better than I expected. I was continually surprised by objects in my peripheral vision. Peripheral vision up and down is also enhanced. The seal is also better than I expected. I have a full beard, and while I keep it pretty short it's still a problem with traditional masks. No leakage into the mask through the neck/sideburn area. The full face design gets a lot of credit too. You breathe through your nose. Go figure!! You can also turn your head to either side while breathing, since the "snorkel" is in the middle of your head. I would turn one way and cringe as I reached where the side snorkel would catch, then do the same the other way, but the catch never came. The aforementioned comment: The basic design of the full face makes diving while wearing it difficult. Just the way it's built. With a traditional mask and snorkel, you can push the mask against your face, get a short lived turbo-vacuum effect and drop below the surface. Since the mask and snorkel are plumbed to each other that doesn't work with the full face. You could probably drop the snorkel till the ball valve closes, then do the push, but I didn't figure that out till we were home so couldn't test it out. I tried diving a couple of times with it, then gave up. This is part of the overall full face design, not a problem specific to Cozia. The reservation - I have a big head. 7-5/8 to 7-3/4 hat size. While the mask fit fine, the adjustment straps on the mask were at the end of their travel. When I tried to tighten them a bit, they didn't give much, and tended to slide back to the end again. If you're a mega dome, may want to find something a bit larger. ... show more

  • Not too shabby at all!
Color: Black Size: Mask M - Fins M
Writing this on my husband’s acc as he bought it for me: So I’m in hawaii n just used this twice so far w/ total ease & sufficiency. For reference, I’m 5’1 size 5 women and got the small which fit nicely. I suffer from asthma & low lung capacity that arises pretty often. So I’m seeing the others writing about how this particular model may not be suitable for ppl like me so I was kinda worried. But I really hated the standard goggle + mouthpiece gear I used before cus 1. Rubber bands painfully pulled my hair & felt like I had to fight to get it on & off, even w/ a neat low bun. 2. The accordion looking tube kept getting water inside & I can taste it tho I swam calmly in calm waters. 3. The mouthpiece is wide & cumbersome. I had to aggressively clamp my mouth down on it for dear life at all times, & you can’t move your lips at all or water quickly seeps in. 4. The eye goggles got foggy quickly & leaked fast too. But this full face goggle w/ the oxygen tube attached over the head is a total game changer!!! The band in the back is not sticky rubber, but stretchy matte fabric that adjusts so you can just glide your head thru smoothly w/ no hair tugging. The inside is lined in strong rubber that suctions onto your face pretty sufficiently. I see some ppl here don’t like the shorter flippers but for me they worked better than the longer ones, as the longer ones bend forward walking up shore & are heavy. I moved way faster w/ these shorter flippers. While swimming for like a good 10-15 min, the goggles worked decently w/ no water seeping to my amazement. You have to make sure it fits nicely w/ out the lower jaw rubber cutting into your lower lips as that happens but you just have to move it around to adjust it, then it’s super comfy! But as they mention in instruction, don’t use it in turbulent tides cus when I strayed a bit to that area, I got a tiny amount of water thru my tube n in my mouth. You just have to blow it out. Also, after 15 min, the breathing became rather uneasy & I started to get air hunger. It’s because this google is for ppl who has normal & healthy lung functions but for ppl like me, 10 min should be max. But it’s perfectly fine because the functionality of this model far surpasses the standard eye goggle + mouthpiece model I used to have that it’s a small price to pay. Just take small breaks in between & you can use it all day. Very similar to the one at Costco that’s almost double the price! Great deal & crafted well like the expensive models. ... show more
