It came well packed. It has 5 ice hardness settings. Auto shut off when the ice bin is full. It makes lots of ice for my household. I have had it for over a week and couldn't be happier so far. A few things to concider. It has a larger ice holding bin then most ice makers in this price range. So you are not constantly having to dump ice into the freezer. And there is plenty of ice in the ice bin when you need it. It is pretty quiet, except when it dumps a load of ice. The ice breaks up pretty good when the bin is low. But stays together when it starts to fill the bin up. But they are easily to break. I did add an external water filter, because this one doesn't have a built-in water filter. But it was simple to attach. You do need to plan out the water connection, the water drain, and the place you want it is close enough to an electrical outlet. I personally believe it is great for a home setting, small office setting, or even a small restaurant. But it not big enough for a large commercial setting.

This machine makes ice fast. Haven't timed it exactly but seems like it fills the bin in under 4 hours. I bought some 2 gallon Ziploc bags to fill from the bin and put in my freezer. Only downside - which I knew - is the machine is not a freeze too. For us it's fine as I can make a couple of bags, turn off the machine and those bags can last us almost a week. I put it on a rolling shelving unit to make it easier to get to the back and to set it at an easy height in my basement. Ran a tee from my laundry sink to hook up the water line and for now I just put the drain hose in the sink.

Do not buy. I paid to have water line ran in my garage for this thing and it is a crappy ice maker. The first one stopped cooling and the ice kept melting, leading to mold growing inside of it. Amazon replaced the first one and within weeks, the ice making component has started failing on this second one. It also only holds 10lbs of ice.

At first I was concerned with the size and worried it would not keep up with the demand of our business. BUT was I wrong. This little ice machine is a powerhouse and works like a champ. it takes up very little space for the amount of ice that it produces.

For the nice compact size, this is a really good ice maker. I like the bullet shaped ice cubes and the option to have small or large pieces. It is quieter than I expected & I am amazed at how fast it starts producing ice cubes (after it's cleaned & settles for a while upon arrival). It's fairly easy to setup & clean. The instructions are good - easy to understand & follow. Good quality materials & construction. I love that it has a self-cleaning mode. Good size water reservoir. Perfect for parties to keep drinks filled all night. It is not a great price point for how great it works. Cons: I wish it came with the connections, etc. to be able to hook up to a faucet & keep it filled/working continuously, and I wish the storage container was refrigerated so it stores the ice & won't melt at a little while. The ice bullets are frozen but not deep frozen, so they melt semi-quickly. I solved this by putting a big tub in the deep freeze & keeping extra ice in there when we use for prolonged periods of time (or if it's really hot out). All in all, good machine, exactly what I needed, and it is now the envy of all our guests. I recommend.

It is a good unit. Makes ice and lots of it. It fit in my cabinet perfectly. But I asked if it required a floor drain the response received was no. It requires a floor drain. The only refrigeration is to make the ice not to keep it frozen. A waste of water and energy. It is good for a small business but not for a residence. I’m returning and looking for another one that meets my needs.

Amazing machine. My ice make in my freezer could not keep up. This one has surpassed all my expectations and I had to turn it off for a while as it made more than I needed. I am glad to say I will not need to buy ice from the store.
