I have been through a queen’s ransom in expensive mascara in my life. I have the shortest, wispiest lashes in the world and they’re light in color. Extensions look like a joke on me and every single mascara I’v ever used make my fine lashes stick together or hang heavy with globs of product—I’ve always had to use the needle to quickly separate the lashes before the goop dried. This wand is just perfect and carefully combs out each lash while coating it, perfectly. No bundle of lashes stuck together and no big globs sticking to any of them and each come out just a little bit longer than they were before. The mascara goes through the day without flaking and looks great, but just disintegrates with hot water and a hand-towel. All that for 8 bucks? This mascara is hands-down the best I’ve ever used for 25% of what I was paying for the last so-called “extension miracle.” ... show more

    • This is the one!
This is a great mascara and incredibly affordable. It came as a shock that this really "common" and inexpensive product is the one that doesn't smudge, bleed or smear after years of trying over a dozen brands that promised to do just that; and didn't. The expensive and "guaranteed" smudge-proof ones lied or at least didn't work for me. I admit to a bit of snobishness on my part, but once I read the reviews I tried this COVERGIRL miracle product and I am hooked. I have it one a subscription order and get it every two months. I LOVE IT! It stays on beautifully and it's easy to apply and control. It isn't waterproof, because those formulae are too harsh to remove, but this comes off beautifully with a micellar water formulated for waterproof mascara removal.     • Great, once you can manuver the technique of brush
As there isn't very many options for brown mascara (why idk). I decided to try this, why not.. After reading a few reviews, I was intimidated by the brush, and now I see why. One review stated it was difficult to use die to always rolling the brush when applying, so I didn't do that. Come to find out, after many different tries, it's actually the best technique, that we should be using for this brush (atleast for me anyways) . I also zig zag 1st at the upper waterline, then halfway through, (or as a 2nd coat, depending on my look) is when I begin to roll. (For me anyways) Works great, looks great, and at this price point it can't be beat, even though it's not the easiest brush to use , and tbh CoverGirl makes an easier version of the same thing [ the purple tube ;) ] The best thing about this brush, is that you can easily get to every lash, even individually, and awesome for lower lashes! ... show more

    • Gloppy is the only word
Hate this stuff but brown is so difficult to find. Applicator brush is skimpy and gets just gloppy with mascara making a mess when applying. I think I am going to wash the brush from my old mascara and use in this gluey mess to see if that improves application. Oh, am I sorry I bought this.

I love the brown color, it looks really lovely against my pale skin and redhair. Plus, the wand separates and defines my lashes nicely, BUT there are a few downsides I don’t love about this. I don’t see any fibers, well nothing to write home about. If you look very closely (as per the photo) there are some minuscule fibers on the brush, but they do nothing. They are either too short to create any length, or they aren’t adhering to the lash (perhaps these are the flakes I get under my eyes during the day while wearing this mascara). I’ve bought fiber mascaras before, and this doesn’t cut it. I bought a regular mascara at the same time I bought this, and the regular one makes my lashes look longer than this does. Also, it somehow makes my eyelashes too wet, because even though I curl my lashes prior to putting mascara on, after a couple of minutes of having this mascara on it un-curls my lashes and I have to curl them again after the mascara dries, and recurling dried mascara leads to flakiness. This would be annoying if I was putting on mascara right before running out the door or if I was already out of the house when applying it and didn’t have an eyelash curler with me to remedy the “uncurling”. I’m bummed out, because I REALLY wanted this to work out (it’s impossible to find brown fiber mascaras, and would making it waterproof also be too much to ask?). Unfortunately, I won’t be buying this again, unless they can fix these issues. You should also know that it’s got one of those tiny bushes that only has two sections of prongs, so you have to really look at it before each application to make sure you are using a pronged section of the wand and not a flat section. I’m not super bothered by this because I’ve used several mascaras that have this type of wand, but if you have poor eyesight, it might make it a little more cumbersome.     • Great mascara.
I use the Super Size Fibers mascara in brown on my fair eyebrows and eyelashes. It fills in without overpowering in a natural color. I like how the fibers stiffen the lashes and give them thickness. Washes off very well when I want it to come off, otherwise stays on without smudging or getting oily.

This is one of the only types of mascara I could find that is in brown color instead of black or black/brown. The mascara does not seem to clump and the brush is curved helping to fit around the eye as it is applied. The mascara washes off with soap and water but does not run from moisture on its own. ... show more
