I'm incredibly picky when it comes to mascara and have spent absurd amounts of money on dozens of high-end options trying to find one that would check every box. Imagine my surprise when, after buying this one on a friend's recommendation, I discovered that it does literally every single thing I want it to better than all of those luxe brands for a steal of a price. Boosts curl? Check. Separates each of my eyelashes so it looks like I have a million of them? Check. Adds some truly incredible length and volume without even a hint of clumping or spider legs? Check. Looks perfect after 20 hours of wear, even in when I've been outside all day and sweating constantly in the summer heat? Check. Easy to remove? Check. I've even gone back and retried several of my previous favorite mascaras, just to make sure I wasn't over exaggerating the results of this one to myself, and it's been shocking just how much of a step down every single one of those other mascaras are. Have used this product for several years in the waterproof style. No flaking off, gives my lashes a descent amount of length and volume without clumping and it's easy to remove without pulling out your eyelashes or tugging on your skin.

The product information says it is waterproof but the actual item does not say waterproof either on the wand or the packaging. I only use waterproof so this was misleading

This item caused serious irritation, smelled toxic and is not eligible for returns. I should have trusted my nose and instinct was soon as I smelled it- it smells like industrial paint solvent. I gave it a chance - 2 days in a row. Some iritation the first day and much more the second day. Half way into my work day my eyes were itching, burning and progressively more inflamed - puffy - red - irritated. I asked several friends to smell it without telling them why- they all said it smelled like solvent, house paint, or just stank - and all then agreed it smelled unlike anything they would trust near their eyes. OK, it's cheap - under $4, so not the biggest loss, but that doesn't mean I want to throw $4 away. The audacity of a policy that does not allow a return or refund for a defective product is ludicrous. The premise it supposedly that it can't be returned because it can't be re-sold. Well, duh- of course you can't re-sell used mascara, but that's irrelevant because the product should not be sold - or re-sold- because it is defective - used or not. I find this customer service issue unacceptable. A respectable response by the seller would have been to provide a refund. Period. Many companies offer a refund with or without requiring the customer to return the product, because it's not about re-selling a returned product, but it's about making the situation right. If you want to try this item, I suggest you go to a local drugstore that has a reasonable return policy. ... show more

I have been through a queen’s ransom in expensive mascara in my life. I have the shortest, wispiest lashes in the world and they’re light in color. Extensions look like a joke on me and every single mascara I’v ever used make my fine lashes stick together or hang heavy with globs of product—I’ve always had to use the needle to quickly separate the lashes before the goop dried. This wand is just perfect and carefully combs out each lash while coating it, perfectly. No bundle of lashes stuck together and no big globs sticking to any of them and each come out just a little bit longer than they were before. The mascara goes through the day without flaking and looks great, but just disintegrates with hot water and a hand-towel. All that for 8 bucks? This mascara is hands-down the best I’ve ever used for 25% of what I was paying for the last so-called “extension miracle.” ... show more
