I have been through a queen’s ransom in expensive mascara in my life. I have the shortest, wispiest lashes in the world and they’re light in color. Extensions look like a joke on me and every single mascara I’v ever used make my fine lashes stick together or hang heavy with globs of product—I’ve always had to use the needle to quickly separate the lashes before the goop dried. This wand is just perfect and carefully combs out each lash while coating it, perfectly. No bundle of lashes stuck together and no big globs sticking to any of them and each come out just a little bit longer than they were before. The mascara goes through the day without flaking and looks great, but just disintegrates with hot water and a hand-towel. All that for 8 bucks? I'm incredibly picky when it comes to mascara and have spent absurd amounts of money on dozens of high-end options trying to find one that would check every box. Imagine my surprise when, after buying this one on a friend's recommendation, I discovered that it does literally every single thing I want it to better than all of those luxe brands for a steal of a price. Boosts curl? Check. Separates each of my eyelashes so it looks like I have a million of them? Check. Adds some truly incredible length and volume without even a hint of clumping or spider legs? Check. Looks perfect after 20 hours of wear, even in when I've been outside all day and sweating constantly in the summer heat? Check. Easy to remove? Check. I've even gone back and retried several of my previous favorite mascaras, just to make sure I wasn't over exaggerating the results of this one to myself, and it's been shocking just how much of a step down every single one of those other mascaras are. I bough the Covergirl Super Sizer Fibers in very black because I was looking for another fiber mascara and I came across this for about $3.50 USD on Prime. It's not bad but not the best. The wond is odd. My wand is actually a bit fatter on the end, rather than smaller so it was not the easiest trying to get the mascara on my inner lashes. I do see the fibers in the formula. That's probably what I had to cleap up after application. In the first pic of my eye, I dont have any mascara on. Only curled my lashes. The 2nd picture il of my eye is with 1-2 applications without clean up. A little messy, but not bad. The 3rd picture of my eye is after I used a spooly and cotton swabs to clean up because it did leave some mascara on my lid That may been user error. But it does come off easily while still wet without getting messy or ruining the makeup. Overall not bad for a couple bucks. I'm not sure if I will purchase again tho. I will try it with a different applicator next time. I plan on buying disposable spoolys in different shapes. That does seem to help mascara look and application. ... show more

I think the people who wrote reviews that this mascara sucks either got defective applicators or don't now how to use a "comb" applicator for mascara. You have to go a bit slower than the ones that have a brush applicator and be very slow and deliberate in your strokes. You also have to make sure that the mascara is coated evenly on the comb when you pull it out, and you don't have any big clumps. You also want to wiggle the applicator when combing upwards, to get maximum coverage. Having said all that, while this is a great mascara for the price, I do not think it is very volumizing, as compared to other premium mascaras, such as those from Benefit. I think I will have to spend a bit more to get a mascara that really gives me the volume I want. Which is why I only gave this one 4 stars. It does work very well, the fact that the applicator smaller at one end is very nice and you can't beat the price , but spending more on a premium brand will get you MUCH better volume than this mascara can deliver just makes more sense. You really do get what you pay for with this mascara, ... show more
